Love it. I have never owned an AP. Can you explain the difference between Royal Oak and Royal Oak offshore?

Roma, the current difference for the men's AP is the Royal Oak is the sizes range from 38mm, 39mm and 41mm. The Royal Oak Offshore depending on the specific watch is 42mm, 43mm and 44mm for men's watches. In the past AP's Royal Oak Offshore were 44mm, which wears bigger than the 44mm and too big for my wrists.

    Royal Oak Watches:

    Royal Oak Offshore watches:
    https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/collections/royal-oak-offshore.html

I hope this provides a little clarity in the difference between the Royal Oak and the Royal Oak Offshore.

    Cheers!

Super helpful thanks, 41mm is good for me. Wow I just looked at those links you posted … what an incredible variety of Royal Oak models. Very cool.

Happy to have helped, and I've been told that I "should" be getting these two ceramic AP Royal Oak over the first two quarters of 2023.

    1) Cost is $74,600- retails for approxitmatley $240K-$260K https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak/26240CE.OO.1225CE.01.html

    2) Cost is $140K- retails for approximately $700K-$800K https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak/26579CS.OO.1225CS.01.html

    Happy Holidays!!!

Hi Romo those both look amazing. What is a good starter royal oak? Would it just be the lowest cost steel piece just to get used to the style? I find the APs quite angular compared with the Rolex and Nautilus watches I’m used to. I think the APs are very cool, just different.

Roma, if you can get your hands on any new AP at cost I would get the Royal Oak 41mm which visually appeals to you. It's very hard to get a Royal Oak of any material at the present time due to supply and demand. If you know an AD who wants you as a client, I would pursue that route. Good luck!

ROMO.....your collection of watches is outstanding. I have been meaning to tell you that for some time. You have some great relationships with AD's as you seem to have the hottest and the latest!! Here in Canada, we have no AP dealers at all. It's very demoralizing. I wish we had at least one AP dealer here. Oh well, keep on collecting and posting, please!

Thank you for the kind words. I'm 58 now so ALL the years cultivating my AD relationships is finally hitting me at the same time, which I'm cool with. Cheers!

    I have several questions …

    What are you buying?
    Who’s talking the pic?
    Why are they documenting it?
Are stone washed cut off jean shorts back in or is Delray one of the isolated spots where they were never out?

    I’ll prolly have followups. :)
