Does anyone have experience with a Climate Control B1810 fault code, which is the Recirculation Actuator?
When I press the recirculation button, I can hear and feel the vents change. The X431 code reader also shows the Actuator Position changing from 0 to 1930 when the recirculation button is depressed. The AC works great.

I can clear the code and a subsequent scan indicates no code. but take the car for a ride and it comes back.
Fussing with the buttons and driving with or without AC doesn't matter. Nor does turning off the battery for a day and re-booting.

I would rather avoid dismantling the center console to investigate this insignificant but annoying issue.
Many thanks for your professional suggestions!!

I presumed this is a tough one, Terry, I just trying to avoid tearing the consol apart not knowing what to look for.
If Brian Crall, Rifledriver, and the other Gods are mute I'm doomed.

At the risk of saying what I consider to be the WORST advice on the planet --- My 599 AC we completely wonky. We checked for leaks, flushed, refilled, pretty much everything. Then, while doing a different service, we turned off the battery. Magically it went back to working perfectly and has been that way for years. I suspect there is a computer that got confused and just didn't have the abiilty to reset itself. I am sorry, I don't remember the code but I could hear the steppers hunting constantly.

Just a thought? - but is it taking too long to reach " 1930 ", so the ECU thinks there is a fault?

Interesting question. It seems to change quickly enough.
Another question is if 1930 is the correct limit? There could be a gecko or something stuck in the opening.
I may try to stick a boroscope in the vent to see what can be seen.

Many thanks for everyone's insightful comments!
