Gold rake Seats. Alcantara interior special copper weave carbin fiber interior. Oddly leather not CF steering wheel. Other small touches.

    Waiting for order guide.

When I was at our NYC event, I asked the TM team to see the sample of the Copper weave CF but sadly there is no sample in the US. Aldo (TM designer) told me that he saw the sample in Maranello and asked to bring it back but was told that what he saw was the ONLY sample so he couldn't bring it back. In his words, imagine a copper line that is weaved into the CF such that gives a 3D effect to the piece. I also requested the ordering guide which likely be coming out in Spring.

Personally, I would not do the gold rake seats especially if we're going to daily this car and I loved the standard seats that come with Purosangue. I sat in them again and found them to be very comfortable.

Admittedly, I'm a bit old fashioned. I grew up thinking Mad Max is cool. I get some folks feel he's too "Hard Core" especially when Tom Hardy took over the reigns. There is also the folks on the other side that felt it went too 'soft' with a one armed Charlize Theron in the mix.

As you say, Monkey see, money do. I totally agree, most folks today are #Basic, and take the road most traveled.

I liked Local Motors original concept long ago when they first launched but unfortunately it never took off and at best they are poorly designed and constructed kit cars.

At the time they were running crowd sourced design competitions for their products. Of course, no professional designer would get involved so they ended up with designs from amateurs/hobbyists. As they found out, designing, creating a bespoke car and selling it successfully is mind numbingly difficult in today's world. I love the ambition though.

Excited to hear there will be ski rack option from the Harry's Garage video. Any guess as to how this system might work on the lexan plastic on the rear window?

If the rack is fixed to the Purosangue rear window I presume it will have to have some kind of suction cups as shown in the picture.

I don't believe the Purosangue rear window is made out of glass. It has curvature that looks like 296 engine bay cover. I think it is made out of Lexan plastics. Will it hold the suction cup at speeds?

Harry mentions that they are developing some sort of system to put skis and cycles. Must be a sturdy latch to endure the speed and agility of this vehicle?

I also sat in the Puro seats and found them rather “hard”, not really comfy …

I knocked on the rear window at the launch show. It did not sound like a glass. o_O

How come the Purosangue doesn't have its own sub-forum yet?

I saw it in Italy so odd it was the only piece.

The gold rake is a pattern not a seat ? I cannot get clarity on that aspect. The back seats with carbon is not a value add.

What config are you creating ? Sorry if I missed it

I was told that Goldrake was the typical carbon fiber racing seats we see in the Pista, 812 etc... After seeing the car again in NYC, my wife and I are leaning towards a lighter color o/w we can't appreciate the CF wheel arches/diffuser so may go with titanio, argento, or white??

To my modest opinion titanio would be beautiful on the Purosangue..

All good, Christian von Koenigsegg wanting to make a Gemera off-roader I'm sure will make him a poseur to many here. Losing his purity bona fides.

Same with that faker and CEO of Bugatti Mark Rimac. I mean, first the horror, how dare he make a 2,000 HP car? Then, I lost all respect for him the moment he brought the Nevera to a mud pit.

Mclaren, Lambo, Lotus, What to these guys know that you don't right? I'm putting my chips on your number.

As we know Rimacs and Koenigseggs are milquetoast, hardly worth even mentioning.

I fail to see how any of that is even remotely related to my quoted post.

I also don't see how you jumped to the self assumed conclusion that I said any of those companies are poseurs. Are you being serious or have you been drinking? ;)

I am also curious. I agree on color. Here is GT spec, but the Nero PS (fiamatta?) looks great as well, but IMHO needs CF externals.

All up in the air. Odd that the CF race seats would be called part of the DESIGN package. I’m going to see if I can see the options in Italy next year.

Pic wont upload but Ill do it after.

I was thinking about (Lexus )Atomic Silver which I think is close to Grigio Caldo or alternatively the mythical GT triple layer. Ive thought about Liquid Silver but am afraid of that cost. I reached out to Ferrari Design and asked about the Vision GT paint and was told “too expensive” not for production car at this time…….

This Ferrari will be a special vehicle and I am hoping to achieve a special effect.

    Brunito is another option.
