This M5 CS is a perfect daily for me. It’s “F-U fast,” can be driven in the snow, is very spacious for karting the kids around, and flies under the radar so I can drive it to work without pissing-off my employees and patients. Car also feels very special with all of the carbon and front/rear bucket seats.
Beautiful! Did you have your car at the Westbury car show recently? If not, I saw the exact same car there, it looked awesome!
2019 Mercedes E63S is my daily and we have a 2016 Camry as the "beater". Every garage should have a camry in it, if for no other reason than to haul parts for the other cars!
That wasn't my car at Westbury but thank you for the compliment. The deep frozen green paint is much better in person than it is in pictures.
I don't have any great interior pics but there are plenty online. All M5 CS interiors are identical. The only real options on the car are the three exterior paint colors and the color of your brake calipers. I usually have a fairly short attention span with cars but I can see myself keeping this car for a long time.
My 2011 Kia Soul is still my daily driver, unfortunately (it's my work car), and my wife still drives a 2020 Honda Passport Elite. But, boys, I am really excited to show you guys what I just bought. One step closer to a Pista, haha. A 2023 GT4!! Swapped the S580 for a 911 Turbo S. Can't do big cars anymore. Slow, heavy and I hardly ever use the back seats with 2 small kids.
Nice work !!!! Just curious if you had any Porsche history with the dealer you ordered from? When did you start the process? How was it? Manual or PDK? MDS
992 turbo S is a great DD I sold mine this summer as I hardly drove it as I prefer the Taycan Turbo S but I know that’s not for everyone. How is the market on them now It was crazy in the summer and I sold my 2021 for a 50k profit to some guy in New Jersey
I did not have any Porsche history with the dealer I ordered from. This is actually my first Porsche... I started the process in February after I sold my 21 BMW M4 and decided that I really wanted to go after a GT4. I compiled an Excel list of Porsche dealerships to begin the process. I started with 31 dealerships, but after going through them, only 4 would put me on the waitlist, didn't have an exorbitant ADM, or some other disqualifier. So I waited for a few months without any real communication, until one day on Rennlist, I heard that a dealership near me received two allocations. One had sold (to the guy on RL), and I quickly tracked my messages down to see if I had spoken to this dealership before. Of course, I had (I had spoken to them all). I got my contacts out and messaged them again saying I knew they had an allocation and I was serious about buying. In a few days, my deposit was paid, and my allocation was submitted to Porsche. The car arrived in the middle of November. I chose PDK for purposes of the track and for the rare occasion that my wife would like to drive it. Sometimes I think about that decision, but most times I don't regret it. So far, I absolutely love the car. It's lived up to all of the hype I put around it, and the hype that reviewers have put around it for years. Keep in mind that this is the most expensive car I have ever purchased or driven (not been in, but driving is how you know), so my opinion is definitely more limited than most of you here. In any case, I am extremely excited, happy, and lucky to be writing this post to you all as a GT4 owner. Sorry for the long-winded response, and thank you for listening to me ramble. I hope everyone has a great day, a Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays. Stay safe!
The 981 is awesome! It makes such a great noise! What are you driving these days? Thanks for the well wishes
Between my wife and I we almost daily our 911 C2S. Our wet weather vehicle and work horse is a 2017 F150. We're adding a BMW X6 M50i to the stable in about 4 weeks and my first Ferrari, a F8 Spider, is due in March. I'm #248 on the wait list at my dealer for a Z06 (seriously). Market has softened a bit although they're still commanding a premium over MSRP. My MSRP was $242 I ended up paying $257.
Winter Warrior Picked up just in time for ice storm 2022. Not sure even this beast with snow tires can handle this weather as the roads are literally sheets of ice Image Unavailable, Please Login
