The one that makes your car look like a wannabe 355 or a piece from the actual race cars?

There is also quite a lot of front overhang on the 348's any lower at the front and it will scrape on anything and everything......

He's referring to the husker Lemans rear tail light panel. Aftermarket part. It has some funny fitment if you really look at it. Best option is to have a body shop modify the 355 panel. Plenty of threads on tail light wiring.

Ooof. If you really want a 355 they’re not that much more expensive than comparable 348s these days, especially when you consider the cost of trying to make your car resemble one.

headlight angle is also incorrect. Some people love it though and that's fine.

Ewwwww.. The 348 tail lights are one of the best parts about the car, especially lit up at night.

Think the 348 tail grill looks better if it's fresh, I may refinish mine.

Not to argue with you, just to explain myself: I was unsure because we’d discussed three things in this thread 1) the “lemans” panel 2) round lights in general and 3) painting the rear grill. Of those three things the only one that *wouldn’t* effect the look of the lights at night (the thing you were advocating) was the painted rear grille. So, to me, your ‘ewwwww’ and the explanation for the “ewwww” didn’t jibe. So I asked for clarification.

I kind of like the look of the grill painted actually.

    Painted grill does look good....
I feel changing the rear tail lights to the 355 look upsets the design flow of the 348, it looks great in OEM form to me anyways...
Get the 355 if you want that look, then the rest of the car matches it.
Just my opinion, everyone is different and likes different things...

Except for the gap between the trunk and the grill, that is quite a gap.

I believe the lesson here is, leave your 348 tail lights alone. :)
