    Merry Christmas to everyone

    Guys, do you know how the original speakers in the f355 are cut? Where is the crossover hidden? Does anyone know how to disassemble the door to get to the speaker? Speaker really need to be a maximum of 55mm deep so that there is no need for modifications?
    I have installed external amp and starting to think about removing 26 year old speakers..

    If you use the Search button you will easily find a thread regarding how to remove the door card- There are also speakers behind the AC vents FYI

    I bought a nice $120 JBL portable bluetooth speaker that has like 10 hours of battery life and removed the factory head unit/CD changer and stored them in the garage. I sort of get wanting to have a nice stereo but if you're just looking (as I was) to listen to podcasts or music in those rare moments when I'm using my 355 as a regular car, the JBL speaker is a great alternative to wiring up a complicated stereo system. The 355 is a loud car, the stereo is just never going to sound that good.

    I stuck in a sony high watt head and kappa 6.75 speakers in the doors. Sounds nice and full with the targa top off on the highway. As soon as I sound deaden the interior it will be better yet. These cars have high noise in the cabin (engine aside) do to sheet metal resonating.

    I’m using a Blaupunkt Bluetooth amplifier with a radio delete plate and Focal components. Besides the car lacking some bass, it sounds pretty decent. Love the stealth look of no radio.

    That's where the kappas coax differ from components and most other coax speakers. Actual bass.
