    There are Countachs and then there is 1120248 which is enjoyed much more than most, wether it is on California's epic Highway 1, the cold of Switzerland's St Moritz snow (with studded snow tires), or in the heat of a desert rally in the Uniter Arab Emirates.

    That Bianco 1121164 owned by Ferruccio was delivered new in Rosso. Here is the car on a trailer at the factory in Sant Agata in 1980. The Roma plate might look familiar ;-) These are the pictures that really blow my mind! Researching and discover Countach history by information, stories, rumors, plates, countries, colours, wings, mirrors, interiors, photographers, my own Countach picture archive, books, magazines, facebook, instagram, lambochat, auctions, and great help from great friends like Kevin Crauwels, Raymond Stofer, Victor Debon and many other enthusiasts and owners. Trying to connect all the dots and solve the 2000 pieces Countach puzzle. A very time consuming hobby, but I really love it!

    Very cool period image, the history is a huge part of the allure of these cars.

    We always knew 1121164 was listed in the production register as red but this proves the car was completed that way, looks to me like it's arriving back at the factory to become white, either way, the current owner is over the moon about having it in his collection.

    I hope this 15-year-old thread I started far too long ago has been a little bit of an inspiration and a help, keep up the excellent work!

    Just going through my archives over the holidays , I've re-discovered some amazing unpublished images by Peter Coltrin of Countach 1120001 which I'll share at a later date.

    Meanwhile, here's a selection of early magazine material which may have been posted before, but I'll just go ahead and post them here all together in one post in case some haven't seen some of them, it's hard to believe these are from around 50 years ago, a Supercar produced by a company that was barely 10 years old!
