Ferrari 296 GTB Picture Thread

for me, i’ve learned to hold final judgment until i see the car in person. photos enhance design elements that seem to disappear when seeing it in the flesh.
the 296 looks smallish and plump in photos but in person looks fabulous. espescially in the reds(ie imola). in person the demension become more cohesive and melled.
it definitely is a compact vehicle that photos accurately depict.

Loaner for a week Amazing - Here in Florida one would be lucky to get a 10 minute test drive and then a 2-3 year wait for a 296

 

Did you find the surround view option useful ?

 

This one, like many Ferraris lately, is just different car in person.
So compact, yet so much presents .

Im a good customer and no there's no cars left so someone at the bottom of the line will be dissapointed.

 

Not too sure, I went to the launch and hated it, when I picked it up was still not keen but looking at it everyday the lines and modern design just grew on me.

Do you know how ferrari would charge for blu elettrico?

 

This blu elettrico with yellow calipers ! Love it!

 

Blu Elettrico was classed a as PNTO two layer special colour and there appears little rational logic applied to the pricing of those colours. I don't know if it has been reclassified into one of the other paint code categories as PNTO no longer appears on price lists.

 

Thanks for your reply. I have sent an email to the dealer and Im waiting a feedback. A friend of mine has ordered a 296 gtb in Rosso Fueco and they charged him 24-28k€ for this paint color.

Is there some secret deal between Ferrari and Mclaren that they build so similar car models at almost same time?

 

there's a 150hp difference plus a 100k price difference How do you see that as similar ?

car looks much better in person but cant wear every color.

 

6 cylinder 120 degree engine with single electric motor, it's not only about this car but also other projects like SP2 and elva, it's look like both companies builds similar models at the same time and it's strange
