360 New 360 owners chime in..

Picked up my 2002 360 f1 and broke the diff on day 1. That was 2 weeks ago, car is back now and I’m enjoying every second with it.

 

Yikes...broke the differential? How so?

 

What I'd like to know is where you found a new ring and pinion.

 

I bought my 04 360 Spider in September…Damm slow gown light kept coming on…I replaced the cat computers and the car has been great since! Love the car…Not as fast as my C8 but I actually love it more! I hope to get a 458 someday Here are a few pics of her!

Not much to say other than I finally bought my high school/college dream car the Challenge Stradale. Tubi headers, Tubi cats, 430 Challenge center lock hub and wheel conversion , and 360trev tune all happening now. Will happily post an update in the next month or two. Can’t wait!

 

Picked up a 360 Modena F1 ~5-6 weeks ago off BAT, I was specifically looking at 360 and wasn't really entertaining other models as the P-Car market has just gotten out of hand, I had been set on getting a 360 for the past year or so now.

Here is mine - bought in October and picked up in November after shipping. I have spent more time getting new keys (sending my immobilizer to Mark at ferrarifobs.com) and installing the stereo...but all good now. Had a fun spin down the Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach yesterday (apologies to all of you in the snow!)

To answer the question why a 360 - I have wanted an F355 since they came out. I almost pulled the trigger on one a couple of years ago when the prices were much more favorable and regret not doing it. I find the 360 is a sweet spot between maintainability (not needing engine out service) and the gated manuals still being (somewhat) accessible.

Wow, that has to be a pretty rare spec with that color and interior in a gated coupe.... in years of looking at 360's I don't think I've seen one like that, very cool! Congrats!

I brought a 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena F1 in August and have been racking miles up on it since.

So far it's been quite good to me although in the new year I am going to rebuild the front and rear suspension, change the tyres and do the belts.

 

I bought my 360 in August, it’s been bulletproof. I cross shopped it to a 430 but will probably end up having both for various reasons. I just love these two generations of Ferrari’s for some reason. No other Ferrari excites me unless it’s the unaffordable ones for most like an Enzo etc.

 

Could NOT agree more ... thus the reason I just bought my 2002 gated 360

I got my 03 360 the middle of Nov. I bought a 348 spider in August and wanted to have the newer body Ferrari. This 360 has been nothing but problems. Clearly it was neglected by the previous owners. Once I get it sorted I will trade it in or sell. I am thinking of a 458 or 488 to replace it. Sucks to be the one that bought it but that's life

Not sure how it broke really. I just got on the throttle and the revs shot up but the car didn't make much forward progress. I didn't hear any sounds indicating something had broken. Anyhow, It's been repaired and I now have several hundred miles of canyon driving under my belt with the car and it's been great.

 

What issues have you been having that have been so problematic?
