    At home, probably have some animal on the spit and acknowledging the beginning of migration. Can’t imagine how tough it would have been for the First Fleeters. It’s not as if there was any semblance of infrastructure when they landed :rolleyes:

    There was no need. Like it or not, there was no established nation, no form of government. Aborigines had not evolved past the Stone Age, low intelligence, just a bunch of tribes warring with each other. That situation was never going to last as the rest of the world expanded exponentially. They/them really need to just deal with it

    Thanks Pap, they live up in central Queensland and we don't get to see him often. Next weekend when our son gets here we will swap him for their German shepherd while they go cruising. Looking forward to that too. We have missed having a dog around.
