I recently purchased a 2017 Ferrari F12 and the previous owner said that he used Carplay often on the car. For the life of me I can't seem to get it to work. I have been online and watched videos without any luck. I have tried multiple USB cables and I can't seem to access the Carplay menu anywhere in the settings. Any ideas?

Doesn’t pressing the carplay button bring it up?
Very few F12s had carplay fitted so there won’t be many owners on here with firsthand experience of how the system works.

Yes and I tried multiple cables. Now I am starting to wonder if this car even has Carplay because there is no Carplay button. I was under the impression that all 2017 F12 vehicles had Carplay but the previous owner may be confused.

If there is no carplay button then you don’t have carplay…

The previous owner said he used CarPlay all the time?
‘17 F12s also had the personalized plaque of options in the trunk. Check that and it’s a dead giveaway of there is no CarPlay button to the right of the steering wheel

I think the previous owner might be confused with his other Ferrari's. I dont have a Carplay button and its not on the Plaque.
