And just like that, you're now over qualified for a position within BMW's design department. Need proof? CES Dee debut. I'd post the Dee, but not sure how to include a viewer's warning.
And while we're on that topic, how about this beauty: 1955 Alba Regia 2 Plus (Hungary) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I lived in France a while and got up close to an Ami 6 which probably looks a little worse than this. And I asked myself what the board meeting was like at Citroen the day they showed them this car.... "Oooo laa laaa.... C'est beau! Formidable!" LOL!
Very retro. And what happed to the kitchen table sized BMW grill Could almost be a 1970's BMW 530 if you squint!!
Comments: - Simple, but too much so. Still if it suggests a trend away from incoherent lines and forms thrown at a body side it is a positive step. - Nice to see someone revert back to a bigger DLO. Hopefully this is an emerging trend. - Nose: a complete divorcing of the trademark twin kidney. They trying to take over old Pontiac noses? - Instrument Panel: Is that just a hunk of solid foam mildly shaped and sprayed with surface filler?
We certainly agree on this one. Simplicity! About time. Lower belt line larger/ DLO not bad. What goes around, comes around. The instrument panel however. Like a Tesla, where's the rest of the interior?
Funny, you reminded me of when BMW said they were going to sue Pontiac/GM unless Pontiac dropped the 'twin port grille' designs. GM legal told them to go pound sand. Looks like BMW has the last laugh.
#Sony and #Honda have revealed the prototype of a new #EV they are jointly developing under the brand name "Afeela"... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like the Walkman designers phoned that one in. Wonder where they got their direction from? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cool looking thing, but Peugeot has had an awful habit over the years of producing really awesome looking concepts and then manufacturing really dreary and cheap commuter boxes. I say this as a former Peugeot owner. Kind of similar to how mail order companies are really in the shipping business and just need something inexpensive to sell you to then charge to ship, what Peugeot really seem to be these days is a car finance company making inexpensive cars they can use to get you to buy the loans. It's kinda sad, because they used to make excellent cars. All the best, Andrew.
I'm going over to the car area on Friday. Today I saw the Sony / Honda car and I do not understand WHY. Not only why anyone would want this but WHY would you design something so BORING? And last year Sony also showed a car and no one cared. So I really don't get why they think this is a big deal.
