They built the SF for more than 4 years at least til the end of 2021 and probably into 2022. When the GTS first launched everyone was talking about a limited time run similar to the pista with a production estimate around 1500!! And now fast forward 3.5 years the car is still being built for at least another year with in my view total production in the 4000 to 5000 easily by the end of the cycle. There’s no point buying a production series car for investment purposes including the F167 which will likely run until the end of the decade. Investment ? A tdf or one of the big 5 are much better suited for that purpose

I was not crazy about them either at first, but they are growing on me. It’s funny, when I see another 812 rather than mine and in motion, I seem to appreciate it more.

Since our 812 is the first V12 we spec’d AND the last 2018 V12 delivered, we have no plans to ever let her go. Passed on adding the GTS because I didn’t love the look. Hopeful to get the 167 if we like the look. But I am not really a collector or investor in these cars. And I really like the open feeling of the interior. Which is why we passed on the Roma. Have a Portofino M coming that my bride fell in love with. Turbo S Cab coming for a DD (when not in the Jeep).

I'm pretty confident in my assertion that Ferrari will have built a lot more 812GTS compared to the Superfast. They don't tell potential buyers this until its too late as they'll be shooting themselves in the foot.

Similar limited run to the Pista?? They built close to 6000 of them in Coupe/Spider

Interesting to read the comments on 812 headlights. Without reading others opinions I never would have thought anything other than I find them very attractive and aggressive.

Regarding Marcel Massini here in the forum there were around 5000 units produced of the SF and the last 3 ones delivered in January 2021.
Time will tell how many GTS will be out there...

If we agree the F12 is very pretty like a beautiful woman and the 812 is aggressive looking like a macho male do we expect the neither feminine nor masculine F167 to be gender neutral. It would be very appropriate for this strange 'wokey' era

Will have to see. With all of the new changes to the interiors, they likely won't age well. The simplicity of the GTS will be a strong selling point. Speculation of course...

day355 - any insight into how the exhaust note of F167 will compare to pre-GPF 812? I have a 2020 812SF and trying to figure out if I’ll want to keep both it and the F167 because of the exhaust note.

Prefer the aggressive looks of the 812- looks like it is worth half a million $. Sexy as hell like your girlfriend. Loved my F12. Beautiful, like your wife but just does not look like a half a million $ car.

Stateside though, the perfect storm of rest of the world first, SF90, COVID and GTS have rendered the 812 SF numbers closer to a limited edition than a full production run. Won’t there be nearly twice the amount of GTS as SF?

I just hope it doesn’t look like a 550, Roma or 599. The Good (although BORING), the Bad and the Ugly…….

The current EU 2024 (July 1) noise restrictions are 4db quieter than the pre-GPF 812 (and the testing methodology has changed to be more restrictive); If the first EU F167 delivery is after that date it will have to comply, otherwise, if prior, the restriction is to be 2db quieter (i.e. the 812c/cA was under this requirement)... And the 812c "loads up" on intake noise rather than exhaust.

I’ve been in the thread since the beginning, but I don’t recall when the predicted reveal timeline is? Like many on this thread, my 812 GTS is almost terminally delayed. My dealer has not received an allocation for nearly 8 months. They continue to assure me that I will get my car, but if indeed the F167 is a NA V12, maybe I just move on to that car, and keep my pre-GPF perfect spec 812SF. First world problems.

Day 355 has mentioned the f167 will be a classic looking car. How In the world does a classic design mesh with a video game dash and steering wheel? (Think Daytona Sp3). Not to mention how bad digital designs date. Take a vintage Ferrari dash and compare it to say a 360 Modena dash, yes different but essentially the same feel.
Look at a digital dash from 10 years ago and compare it to one today and Dinosaurs come to mind. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but certain things age better than others.

Yes but the pista as well initially was meant to be a lot more limited based on a limited time run. In the end they built about 6000 or so of them . Same story for the pista and GTS.

I don’t think we can judge fairly from that clip. I also don’t think Ferrari will disappoint based on the sound of the 812C. If all else fails, aftermarket exhausts do exist people, I don’t know why many here dismiss them. Nothing to me sounds as good as an 812 with an aftermarket exhaust, and you’ll never get that sound from a stock car.

This also blows my mind. So many times I read here: "I won't buy xyz car because of the exhaust sound". So change the exhaust. It's literally the last reason/excuse not to buy a car. It's similar to saying I'm not going to date that girl because she has small breasts. So buy her bigger ones. Hahaha
