You just won the internet, especially the very honest (and correct) assessment of WHO is actually the problem.
I think no one will ever be on the same levell as elton..i mean, let's face it, nobody else could come up with those outfits and further still wear them!!!!
I would wear them at 12 mill a year too. wouldnt care what they look like, had to wear a school uniform when at school and hated it, and a high vis when i am out of my truck. School didnt pay me, and work doesnt pay me 12 mill a year either.
I thought crapilton was dressing like a clown tro promote his designer friends, don't tell me that besides besing tasteless they're also dumb enough to pay him! Heck, Roscoe would probably get them better publicity....althoug they would probably end up being charged for animal abuse!
You may not appreciate the clothes some people wear, their hairstyle, their body jewelry, their tattoos, their diet, their lifestyle, their sexual orientation, their political ideas, their religion or the music they like but you would be surprised how many people do. It's a big wide world out there, and there is room for every taste, shape or colour. People have just to learn to be more tolerant, less judgemental and try to get on.
No, bad taste cannot be measured: "What is one man's meat is another man's poison." You are far happier when you live and let live; more people should try it.
I beg to desagree, bad taste can definately be measured! In Elton's case it's of the charts! Have you ever heard of visual polution?
And now the haters are worried about his wardrobe? You guys need a hobby... Or check out Russell Westbrook's "fashion sense" if Lewis' is bugging you. Westbrook wears things that make Lewis look tame in comparison.
No one is "worried about" what he wears. Hell he can turn up in a tutu and glue a unicorn on his forehead for all I care. Will I make fun of it? Of course I will. Plenty of us did the same when Mclaren's drivers both wore idiotic clothes during the Miami GP, and the utterly cringeworthy performance they did with that fat simpleton James Corden. And those are 2 drivers that are pretty much universally liked by anyone here. Plenty of us did the same whenever Schumacher dressed up as a cowboy, and he's seen as a literal God in this place.
" Hell he can turn up in a tutu and glue a unicorn on his forehead for all I care." hasn't he done it already????
I'd say most F1 fans do not care or worry about what drivers wear specifically, they just aren't into the fashion world in the first place. The world of expensive clothes and whatever the latest fashion or this year's color is supposed to be, that's all from a foreign planet from where I live. Having said that, I did peek at some recent men's fashion magazine because it had Max on the cover, but seriously, the photos with captions like "Max is wearing the $700 Designer t-shirt with $500 socks by XYZ, racing suit furnished by the driver" was funny.
Alot of comments about what LH wears from a bunch of people who apparently dont care over these last couple of years / 241 pages / 6024 comments. not specifically saying you like, But it is spoken about alot. so i agree with Jimmys reality, its obviously an opinion that is shared lol
No no you have it all wrong, you clearly haven't been over to any of the other drivers' threads! They're all this busy The bottom line is that Lewis is part shock jockey, part racing driver, part activist. The fact he wears all those hats and is STILL the most successful racer (by numbers) of all time should garner quiet admiration at the very least. He's not here to please everyone, he is definitely narcissistic but f*** me he's won 100 races and is still blistering on his day at 38. He's won the right to do whatever he wants because he has the stats to back it up. Fine, he's not winning every race and GR outperformed him last season but the man is pushing 40. Yes, his car was better than pretty much any other until recently, and he stopped winning once the playing field was re-levelled...but you know what, he made the call to join Merc in the face of everyone telling him he was a lunatic. He's not hurting anyone, he's an odd bloke who has been wicked fast over the years. When he retires F1 will be poorer for it. What thread will we all talk on this much when he isn't racing anymore??
