See - they had me at $6K but stretching to $6500 is tough even though I want it so bad I can taste it and just KNOW I would look amazing in it Unfortunately I will just have to watch for one on Real Real or perhaps wait for the updated 2024 line and maybe grab one of "last year's" versions and maybe steal it for around $5K.
This stuff is silly looking to most normal people. It is like anything else in the high-end fashion world. Go into any Versace, Gucci, Chanel, Prada store in Vegas or Bal Harbour or anywhere and you will see stuff that is just laughable as well as some stuff that is wearable. Same thing going into a Louboutin, Zanotti or (back in the day) Jimmy Choo shoe store - some stuff that you just hold up and laugh and some things you transfer money from savings to buy. While this says "Ferrari" it has absolutely nothing to do with their cars or the people who buy their cars - It is high fashion and the target demographic are the same people who buy the most bizarre items from the other high-fashion designers. "Ferrari" wants to be held in the same regard as the other major fashion design studios since they consider themselves at the forefront of "design" - whether it be a car or a jumpsuit or sunglasses. As long as "Ferrari" is still designing ridiculously sick cars like the Roma, 296, F8, 812 etc. we can tolerate the fashion silliness. What should frighten everyone is if Versace starts designing cars or Christian Louboutin starts designing wheels!!!
You know what just occurred to me, the look on that model's face says, "My mother made me wear this to school".
Cowards, I’ll rock it if’n your buying. I’ll even drive one of the Ferraris for the valet/mall challenge Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'll take mine in Mandrino Antigua with Blue Santorini highlights. Maybe throw in some Superfaric elbow patches, a giant cavalino on the back and "Ferrari" pasted across the butt cheeks. Or is that too tame?
O M G I mean so totally under the radar... Step out a bit for God's sake... That spec you might as well shop at Kohls...
You're so right. On second thought, I should inquire about the assless version with the matching thong.
See now you're thinking... And throw in some ghetto to keep things real... Glitter tramp-stamp Cavallino tat just above the thongline...
The only person I can imagine wearing these outfits, Lewis Hamilton, probably cannot for contractual reasons.
ferrari are making a mistake trying to get into designer clothing I think, as I am sure they'll see from low sales figures
Absolutely, huge mistake. At this price point there is too many other better, more tasteful options. A licensing deal with Puma works for the lower end. For the higher end, an occasional capsule collection with another designer would have been a better idea.
Get Schedoni to make some world class bags and leather. Maybe the sunglasses and an occasional bespoke outfit. Leave it at that. I cant believe that much $$ changes hands in the US on that crap. Maybe Europe or something.
Actually the low sales figures are to keep the sales volume under the EU limit so they can avoid the emissions and noise limits imposed on bigger manufacturers [emoji4] BTW the Louboutin wheels have a red tread with spiked rims a La road warrior style Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
