Morning everyone, so after some extensive research I am certain that I want to get this tuning done after I have the complete exhaust system is done in the next few weeks.

Anybody (Trev ?) know if anyone is providing this ECU flash in the US ?

    Cheers
    Steve

Trev was generous with his time for me as well. His knowledge level is way beyond any “tuner” I’ve known. Having some flash work done in a few weeks when I get home. There is a contact in CA who you ship your ecu’s to. They will do Trev’s flash and ship them back.

Trev and Sam just put the tune on my CS. They are both extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Well worth the money.

Wouldn’t I have to remove to computers and send them to him to find out?

You could disable your emission system in the engine area, or unplug one of your CAT ECUs plug.
If no cel then you've got it.

After I re-installed my ECUs after Trev's tune, I drove with my Emission System unplugged, both Cat ECUs unplugged and the gas cap loose. No cels after about 25 miles of driving

Unfortunately on the 360 there is no easy way to tell. On the 575/F430 and later cars you can tell by looking at the CalID and CVN which can be read by most handheld OBD scanners from the engine ECU's (even my $50 Autel can do it)

    Morning all ....
So obviously there is a lot of interest here about 360Trev's ECU flashing

For those that are not in the know, the following video does a good job of explaining why Trev's ECU changes are substantially different

Now, as mentioned to me by Trev and within the video it is extremely important that the Cam timing is perfectly matched to OEM specs to get the most out of the software. From what I gather, over years of changing belts it it possible that Cam timing could be a little off ...

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login That’s correct, when AV Engineering rebuilt my engine they put a lot of time and effort into getting the timing just right, to take full advantage of Trev’s ECU map.
It absolutely transformed my car - I did 105,000 miles in it before the engine rebuild - the difference is night and day.

That's awesome. Yes, Trevor was able to find out my engine is off on it's timing as well. 656/654, instead of 660/660. Unfortunately, no shop around me can do this fix at all, so I am going to have to do it myself. Seems like a fairly massive job. I am both looking forward to it and not. LOL

How exactly would you determine that from the CalID or CVN?

The CVN is the checksum of the CalID, so if you record the CVN for a particular CalID for a stock ECM, it should match across ALL cars with the same CalID. If the come across a car with the same CalID but the CVN is different, then you know for certain it has been modified.
