Just letting the brotherhood know that a 348 luggage set just hit BAT. I have no affiliation, it’s just a pretty rare find. Hope someone here scores it. Cheers

It’s the 7th set on BaT this year, are they normally rare? I bought one but I just started paying attention because I only got my 348 this year. Regardless, black is definitely rare and it looks hot.

I don’t see many in black, so I think it’s rare.

Part of me wants a set, the other part of me is like "what would I ever do with it?" Just another thing sitting around gathering dust that I'll never actually use.

I do have a set of Challenge wheels and an FNA folding softtop though.

The luggage is literally $6k in wasted space in my closet. I agree. I bought it to look nice in the ad when/if I sell the car.

What's the difference between this 348 luggage set and one for a 355? Should fit both cars. And there doesn't seem to be anything that uniquely identifies it as 348 luggage? Or is it that 355 luggage is marked with F355 etc?

The 355 sets are I’m embossed with “F355” as well as the horse. There could be other subtle differences as well. I never bothered to study it.

If youre gonna spend the $4-6k you might as well get the correct set.

I have a set of tan 348 luggage. Two large suitcases and the garment bag. It has the 348 logo embossed on all three pieces just below the horse. It’s the only 348 set I’ve ever seen with the logo embossed. has anyone ever seen another? It has 355 style hardware, and yellow dust bags. My assumption is that it’s a late production variant for a 348 spider. Possibly unique. I would consider selling it if anyone’s interested.

I also have a complete set of tan standard 348 luggage with just the horse embossed. 10 Despacito with locks, five stacks, etc. That’s on eBay.

if you want to know if your embossed 348 set is authentic Albert-LP here seems to be the authority on Schedoni...there's a whole luggage thread:

I did contact Albert and thought it was a custom set.

Could it have been embossed after the fact?
Either by the dealer or the owner?
