    I visited my AD this morning. I've nurtured my relationship with him for over 20 year. I had to buy some less desirable Rolex's over the year to increase my profile with Rolex but it's worked out net positive over the years.

    Wearing the 1601 Datejust today.

    Yesterday I wore the Hamilton Ventura (photo posted in yesterday's post), which was my first time wearing it. I have to admit that watch was unexpectedly comfortable and surpassed what I thought it might be like. The watch is just as striking in person as it is in photos. Don't know if anyone else has one or has worn one before, but it is a very cool watch! I can understand that it may not be for everyone though, but I loved it.

    @JayO - is that an aftermarket strap or an add on? Just curious whether that would be something I should look into for my Daytona. I would be interested in your thoughts on it sometime.

    I have wanted one for years and finally bought one - it came from Japan. It arrived on Wednesday and I could hardly wait to put it on!! It is such a piece of horological history that it just belonged in my collection.

    It is an aftermarket strap. Since the Oysterflex straps are only for the gold Daytonas, something like this is the only option if you want that look. A little pricey for a couple strips of rubber, but it fits really well on the watch, feels comfortable and I think looks great.     Interesting! I am intrigued by this. I may contact them and see if it would work. Mine isn't the ceramic bezel, but it should be roughly the same size I would imagine.

    Is that an Oysterflex rubber bracelet? I love the way it looks an may convert my bralet to a strap like you as I tend to wear the watch on very casual days.
