If the dealer is saying you should use jumper cables connected to another vehicle, I would definitely not do that. Buy a battery charger and let it gradually recharge the battery.
So far there are no test drives of the Purosangue published therefore we have to guess how the car revolutionary suspension will perform. According to the testimony left here recently by Jerry (Caeruleus11) after having driven the 296, which is equipped with another variant of the Purosangue Multimatic suspension, the virtues of this system are impressive. Jerry’s impressions validated what Ferrari says is a revolutionary suspension system increasing even more the expectations regarding the performance of the suspension of the Purosangue especially on corners. This is how Ferrari describes the Multimatic active suspension that equips the Purosangue: Try imaging going round your favorite corner and feeling the car body hardly rolling or moving. The active system intervenes to balance the forces acting upon the front and rear axles individually. This enables very fast changes of balance in each section of the corner. On entry extra force on the rear axle increases lateral acceleration. On exit, more force applied to the front . the result ? Balance, stability and fun. Thanks very much Mario for the kind words- I was indeed very very impressed with the system in the 296. But there are important differences, I think the Purosangue suspension will be even more impressive. The system in the SF90 and 296 doesnt have the ability to raise or lower (the PS does) and it doesnt have different firmness settings (the PS does) and I think these things will come together to almost defy our sense of what a higher riding sports vehicle can be and do. It has already become very clear that the Purosangue is not an SUV and although it has AWD it was essentially designed for sporty driving on the road. After the very positive comments and testimonials about the Purosangue's revolutionary suspension system, what I can't wait is for the Purosangue road videos

I believe you are mistaken. The Purosangue does not vary its height. It varies its stiffness, as does the standard magnetoerheogical Ferrari supsension (by Delphi). The Puro suspension allows active independent stiffening of each corner, depending on the load. This was deemed necessary due to the Puro's higher centre of gravity. It won't be any better than a lower Ferrari, with Multimatic (passive set-up), or Delphi (active set-up), but it will mitigate the disadvantage of height. Remains to be seen if it will be adopted for Ferrari's sports cars.
Haha, clown car I doubt. What’s wrong with a V12 car from (one of) the world’s leading sports car manufacturers, made in the shape of cars of the 21st century? There are plenty of sports cars that have Ferrari treatment, why not an every-day car? You could buy a Bentley but PuroSangue and Bentayga are not the same thing. One I have no desire to own, but the Ferrari looks to be spot on to me. And the purpose of extra ground clearance? There are numerous other Ferraris without it. For those who would like an additional Ferrari which is an everyday car that you don’t have to stoop down to get in, has great styling but with four-door practicality, allows you to see at the level of other traffic, can cope with the rubbish road surfaces in most countries (certainly including the UK), yet still has an amazing sound from the world’s best engine, big capacity n/a response and feels other-worldly in its handling responses (which it will), this car will be just about perfect. It will sell strongly and why not? There may be plenty of clown things in this thread but the car won’t prove to be one of them YMMV.
While we continue waiting for the first reviews of the Purosangue performance on the road I had a look of its main particularities when compared with the Urus. I also looked at the aerodynamics of the Purosangue and used the explanations from a video posted by a gentleman named Martin Buchan, that has a good knowledge of the subject. I illustrated the various explanations with pictures hoping they can be of interest torero the ones less familiarized with this aero science. Undoubtly interesting - "revolutionary", not that much; Citroen had active suspension on mass-produced cars more than 30 years ago (... and it worked very well; it's just a shame Peugeot did not care about Citroen's specific systems).
