Just goes to show you we are splitters- splitting hairs on everything from rock to Ferrari minutiae.
That being said most (except maybe on this site) think the 355 was the first modern Ferrari.
    As for the V12s-the 550?
Clearly the SF90 and 296 represent the newest generation - impressive performance- as for looks? - perhaps not so much. It usually takes Ferrari a couple of versions to get the look “just right”
Let’s hope the 167 does it out of the box

That is true. And you can’t lump social media addicted/believe everything they read/hate ICE people to an age group either…

OK, I'm just gonna set this straight for everyone. For full disclosure, I'm in my 50s. Here's how it breaks down:

    50s Music 1950-1962ish
    Classic Rock - 1963-1979
    80s Music 1980-1988
    90s Music 1989-2002ish
    Other crap

The first line is so funny….and so true! I think we could even have an ‘informed’ argument about Dyson vacuum cleaners!!

They don’t suck! Absolutely worthless. I wish I’d kept my 30 year old Electrolux … even though it weighed like 80 pounds.

You should try Sebo. Definitely the best. They have a V12 suck if ever there was one!

technology is inevitable and it makes the cars easier to drive... hence the problem. drive by wire is less engaging than manual stick shifts and feeling the road through the steering wheel and suspension. digital displays are cool and extremely useful but also cold and detract you from the car. analog tachs with needles and buttons/switches are tactile and connect you more with the machine. DCT transmissions are superior to manuals in almost every way and yet manuals now command a premium! because DCT is drive by wire and less engaging while manuals put you in touch with the machine knowing your movements have a physical linkage to your car. that's why you see price boosts in manual stick shifts in all cars especially Porsche who is now offering them on new cars!

same is true with mechanical watches.

we want comfort and usability but also we want to work for it and be intimidated. that's the perfect blend of analog and digital i'm talking about.

(all these comments are geared towards car enthusiasts, for the grocery getter give me comfort and tech all day long)

I can live with DCT, rear axle steering, torque vectoring, variable suspension control,… OK.
I don’t like to drive as with a PlayStation.

FWIW, until this past Summer when my SF90 arrived, I hadn't any reason to contemplate music beyond what's on my Spotify playlists. However, each time I drive the car Bluetooth connectivity is lost, and it tunes to an AM station playing pure 70's gold. It brings me back to sitting in the rear seat of my dad's Buick Electra as a kid, inhaling his Pall Mall smoke, while he hummed along to the likes of Joe Cocker, Bread and Tony Orlando and Dawn...

Love the idea of an SF90 identifying as a Buick because it thinks the Electra is electric and taking a shot at the spider by playing ‘You can leave your hat on’. :)
