The Rule: Who functions as a subject, while whom functions as an object. Use who when the word is performing the action. Use whom when it is receiving the action. Examples: Who/Whom wrote the letter? They wrote the letter. Therefore, who is correct. Who/Whom should I vote for? Should I vote for them? Therefore, whom is correct.
Mike, I'm sure we all appreciate an American tutoring us in the Kings English, however the who/whom reference in the Australian section is an "in" joke? Can you work out whom is the perpetrator?
