No, it doesn't work that way. You need an account which will use your email address as the link. You don't send requests.

 

Apologies again, i have a drop box account and have sent links for people to upload the file to my drop box. the dropbox account is linked to [email protected] if you can send me a link.

It's not there. Dropbox claims they need to know the email address that is allowed to drop files. you can PM or email me the email you use from dropbox. my email is [email protected]

@George Vosburgh Try this one, I made it relatively open and it is a "file request"

 

First, they have changed the format so after sending this file for years all of a sudden I can't figure out how to send it.
Second, you need to have an account in Dropbox to get it. You can't just send a request.

 

I do have a dropbox account, the request came from my dropbox account. I have created a specific folder now and clicked on share. now anyone with this link can edit the folder. Hope this one works. Apologies for the inconvenience.

How about an email address?
