I don't know if it matters and I'm sure Byron can respond, but last I messaged him he said the original group buy price was too low to do again. He gave me a pretty close price shipped though. I would just reach out to him and ask for a quote.

Edit..spoke too soon. Seems he's been banned. Selling without a vendor account I'm guessing?

For the F430 crowd, I *think* it is ok to still run a group buy on FCHAT, you just have to have someone interface with the vendor outside FCHAT to negotiate pricing, delivery, etc, like Tommy was doing initially

If you like, I have Byron's whatsapp contact info, PM me if interested

Morimoto makes them for the 360, I just bought a set for 1,200. Seem to be very high quality like all the Morimoto stuff. Check them out online, they were delivered 2 days after I ordered them. You can buy direct or through headlight revolution.

I’m selling mine. I hesitated in the beginning due to me liking the factory headlight more. But I want to see it in person. Now that I do, I do prefer the factory option. If anyone interested, let me know and I’ll sell mine to you.

Wish you give it more time bud. It does need getting a little used to because the functionality is slightly below OEM but looks wise it does shave a decade off it.

At first install, I wasn't overly impressed - wished the halo rings are like 5x brighter - but with time I grew to really like it and won't convert back. 90% of my driving is during the daytime anyhow.

The mounting and build is superior imo. I don’t know why Ferrari decided to only use 3 mounting instead of 4. The light is much more solid and I think will be better with 4 mounting tabs to prevent breakage. The light itself is subjective. To me the styling is not really what I’m looking for. In my previous post I said I prefer the stock look with the clear center. After I received this it’s still my preference. The light output also not as bright as factory which surprised me as these are led. It does looks beautiful when light up. But most of the time I don’t have the car with the light up so my preference is the stock one. I mounted one side and now I took it off and will be putting it for sale.

Just sharing my experience so far

I think if they were 3-5 times brighter, they would be selling a lot more of them.

At night, they are unmistakably seeable and recognizable and though they don't throw as much light as OEM, they illuminate nearly as bright so I can accept that.

So I was immediately taken with them from the ad, then, receiving them, they were SO different, I was on the fence.

Then I fitted them and I REALLY liked the fitment over OEM.

Then the illumination looks so great, I found it hard to resist.

Now after walking past the rear of the car many times, every time I do I like them more and more and think they look fantastic. Like Joe said at one point its almost like, how was I even on the fence....

I had a similar experience with my wheels change.

Let's face it, the car looks amazing the way it drove out of the factory and it is iconic, so any significant change is going to take some getting used to.

My wife doesn’t like them. She says it makes the car look too aggressive and prefers the factory look. I can understand that it might not be everybody’s cup of tea. There are certainly things that I would change about them so I can understand someone not wanting to commit to them. I think they’re a net plus, but I’m keeping my Scud Ing Swiss leds just in case I change my mind later on in the future. :D

Perhaps functionality isn’t the proper term because it still has reverse, brake lights, turn signal, etc but all these are dimmer in this “upgrade” compared to OEM.

Have anyone tried driving during the day with the parking lights on? You can’t see the halo “rings” at all. The glow is so dim it doesn’t appear to be on.

Love the design and the fact that it’s 100% LED, just wished everything is much more brighter/intense.

Like Joe and John puts it, it takes getting used to. And as I’ve mentioned with Byron too before if he could make it noticeably brighter than OEM in all the key features members wouldn’t mind spending much more but it’s all made and done so not much can be changed.

At least we got the turn signals intensified which is a plus :)

It's funny, I was just thinking if the F430 left the factory with these LED lights, and someone came out with a 'classic' look that looks like the OEM ones they probably wouldn't sell a single one.

The standard lights in the day are dim and hardly light up?

If the halo's where to bright surely you would get blead and they will look tacky?

To me, the level of light from the “running” light is perfectly acceptable in the daytime. I wouldn’t want them confused with brake lights anyway. Otherwise, I feel it would be too bright at night. The actual brake light is more than an improvement over stock lighting in my opinion. I think the light levels are tuned just right.

Guess after a month or so of searching for the 488 I got used to the way the halo ring "should look" :D

I've seen the 488 quite a few times during the daytime. The ring is very visible, not tacky, and just overall very modern.

These ones I am sure are heavily inspired by the 488 lights but couldn't par up I'm sure due to size as well. The 430 light is kind of small so hard to pack a lot of stuff inside.

Again, overall I would say the pro outweighs the con - very much improved - but just reiterating it isn't gonna be mind-blowing significantly brighter as others have brought up leading to the "on the fence" feeling. Kudos to the better fitment as well.

From what I am told though is that Byron spent big $$$$$ developing these. Sales aren't flying off the shelves either so I would speculate this is as modern and different as we are ever going to see for the 430.

At 22,239 views - at the time of this post - it is safe to say less than a couple dozen purchased or has shown interest? It'll be a LONGGG while before Byron makes his money back. Lots of purest out there

His US partner is marketing these for $2200 in Ebay. I don't think there will be a lot of interest at that price point considering the light output isn't overwhelmingly well-received. What I am getting from the group buy people is that the brightness is "good enough", however the looks does modernize the car. But for $1500 shipped it is a good buy for what it is.

I’m not sure I get why you would want to drive around in the daytime with your lights on, is it an American fad?

I want them to work, ie when you brake in the daytime, they light up enough to alert the drivers to what you are doing, and at night light up enough to show you are there etc.. but also to look nice, have a modern touch and take a few years off the car.

Ferrari must be the hardest brand to sell aftermarket items for, as owners (and for my understanding) around 80% will want, and not stray from OEM! I totally get that, but it’s not like I’ll be selling the original lights and can always put them back. I like modifying cars, more OEM+ and there is very little out there for an F430 and things like the splitters and skirts just look rubbish and trying to hard, so these to me are a welcome edition and pull off the OEM+ nicely.
