This could be it. If the song is a hit, this could be the video that changes the whole Boxer market!

    Hi,
    To the attention of Sherpa23
I incidentally read this thread and see that on Jan 2022 you wrote that there are only #27 512BBI with Zegna wool/leather interior.
I acquired one year ago such a car, fully restored 3 years ago including this Zegna option restored by Luppi in Italy.
My question is: How do you get this information of 27 cars manufactured with this option on a total of 1007 units manufactured from 81 to 84?
    It seems pretty low number.
just for my curiosity, if you (or any other specialist) can give me your source of information.
Best regards and happy New year!
    Jean-Paul

Same seller as the BB manual reprints - comments that "they are factory reprints for MAR (means Maranello)" and "original factory stock exhausted", which is misleading.
They're not factory reprints, have negligible collectible value and are available new for ~$100 each.

Like in the 512BB listing, the unaware are prepped and duped into paying original manual prices for reprints.

    i see 348' s selling for nearly 100k, i see 328's selling for nearly 200k.....

once again the bbi is undervalued like never before.
is it only the american market that is this misguided?

For someone seeking an older Enzo-era Ferrari the BB is not obvious, especially in North America where it was never offered by Ferrari. An 8 cylinder car has a higher profile and is instantly recognizable. Many people think my BB is a 308 (or once, ahem, a Pantera). As well, the fact that the engine needs to come out for major service sounds terrifying for someone who is not extremely wealthy.

I kind of like the fact that it is a rare choice.

To most wealthy people I know, technical stuff (on a Ferrari) is magic.

I love the Boxer! But the idea of having to pull the motor for timing belt, every 3 to 5 years, is hard for me to afford. It’s a rich man’s Ferrari.

If you drive them regularly, 7-8 years is no problem. Just bought XKE that was totally restored 15 years ago and then sat accumulating only 1500 miles in all that time. I have driven is 3500 miles in 2 years and have had to replace the front main seal and redo both rear hubs and rebuild the Differential. In my opinion because the car was not driven.

The way I look at it. It cost me about $500/year to insure the bbi vs $2,500/year for a new Ferrari. Every 5 years it cost around $10,000 for the major service on the bbi. So in reality it costs the same thing and I get to drive and own a bbi. That’s priceless.

Just got a 365BB to the garage. Have spent 25 years with Ferrarirs and lots of other cars but never a BB

I am utterly blown away by this car. The small size, fantastic power, sound, handling. Spent the last 3 weeks as my daily driver and i cannot get over how much I love this car. So surprised I didnt have one earlier. What a car

the 365 BB is much more agile to handle than the 512 BB and also much more than the 512 BBi. also you feel more that you drive the car and not the car you. but it need much experience to handle this car at the limit - if you will go so far???
try to go on a racetrack with no trees, no walls. so when you will loose control you only turn round but never will touch some. so you will see how far away the limit will be. and always remember: you go with an old lady ;)

gradulation to this nice 365 BB

The 365 BB is quite a bit lighter than the 512 BBs, so faster as well. Engine higher revving with more power but less torque. Fantastic Ferrari, as are all Boxers.
