I enjoyed it. Nice breakfast, coffee, and live music in morning. Was a nice lunch, open bar, and live music later.

walking by the patron lounge I never saw anyone in there and twice the price?

The showing was really great yesterday. 0483SA was easily my favorite there, such a unique and beautiful car.

I have to say overall it was a very good show. Less cars on display than in the past but still good.

Only glitch I saw were several of the plaques were wrong. Other than that everything was smooth and very organized.

I did find it interesting that there are no longer bars located on the field like years past. I didn’t miss it a bit but Im sure the champagne and cocktail crew did. :)

What was the “VIP viewing area”? Was there any restriction on where you could go with general admission? Were there any art vendors?

Damn, another reason for me not to attend !
I hope for everyone else’s sake this ^^ will not become a standard practice. :(
What’s the point of attending a car show if refreshments aren’t easily accessible ?
Kind of like having a cool car(s), but not driving it/them as intended and as much as possible.

The VIP viewing area was a tent set up with seating in front of the “road” that they drive the winners up at the end of the day.

The only artist there was Tony Sikorski. They had him set up on the south side by the water near the pool entrance.

Lol not sure why they didn’t have it. People kept asking me all day “where’s the bar?” :D Guess they all had to go inside for a drink.

I have never been, so won't compare. It seemed they learned their lesson and got all the cars efficiently placed. A slight bottleneck at checkin desk (space issue, not processing issue) and the upper lawn, but that is certainly the best space for the truly special cars and of course all spectators focus on those cars too. The down lawn is nice, quality space on top where Ferrari had their cars then shifting into vintage. It is beautiful to look downhill all the cars and make your way through. I bet a high % never make it all the way and a shame as there are special cars to see like Superamericas. The promenade towards the ocean is a great space for cars, but I don't think 75% of the spectators knew about it or went to see the race cars.

It is really overwhelming, I would love to spend a complete day paying respect to each and every car, then another day just to relax having a drink being social. It just feels hectic only having 4 hours to view cars and be social among the hoards of people. The sponsors row didn't seem to be getting much attention and several private lounges no one was using, but it looks like they were setup for interviews and maybe that's where awards were later afternoon.

The calculation for me is how to best participate in the event. I got a good overview of all the events minus the track day and Mar-a-Lago, also comparing the formal event dinners vs. private parties vs. meeting a few friends at bar or local restaurant.

General Admission is required because security is 100%, they were strict looking at event tickets at the outside gate, you can't really get anything for free as 95% of the cars are already within the gates for morning setup. However, with General Admission only you get to take in 90% of the overall event. You have access to all the cars and parking lot. The only thing Thursday and Friday access gets you is less crowds and see a couple cars, but same cars will be there Saturday. So for just General Admission you see all the cars and participate in the highlight of the week, you can also get around the Breakers and enjoy the restaurants and bars. So in summary it is an amazing value if you want to stay offsite and just do General Admission.

What would I consider beyond that? No better place to show a vintage Ferrari in the world, but if you just want a score, you need to weigh vs. FCA Nationals and even Regionals that do IAC/PFA.

Track day? Long ways away and low participation, but might have been worth it just to see the 512 M at full song.

Rally? Nice participation sold out 30-40 cars, nothing too vintage, but quality cars and someone who has done 20+ said it was the best ever police escort up the A1A. Since Florida isn't the place for hard rallying, then just make it beautiful, relaxed, and social. The rally banquet Friday night was nice, but personally I had more fun just hanging with James and Steve in the Seafood Bar before & after. Talked to a SWB owner for 30 minutes more interesting than the strangers I set next to banquet.

A common thing I've heard from the longtime participants was how great the jet and yacht events were, maybe that can return and seems like a good sponsorship opportunity.

General vs. VIP vs. Patron? I'm not sure all the levels and prices now as already removed from website. I think like anything. If you are showing a 7-digit car and staying at the Breakers for several days, then why not go all out with the tickets? I don't think you get that much more with every level, but then again it isn't that much more money relatively.

Throw some ideas out there for the future, I can work with Luigi. It could range from a simple meetup offsite so no Breakers access problems or we could even setup our own "club" at the event. Maybe something like the FerrariChat whisky and cigar lounge. :D

I got a picture of their "celebrity" judging yesterday. They had just got started and the "handler" seemed to be doing a good job trying to make it fun for them. Of course they really weren't judging, but maybe they had a special award for them to give out?

Thanks for a good overall summary of your experience ...

... and this ^^, especially if open 24/7 and includes oysters, prawns, sushi, etc., seems like a grand idea ?

Left around 6am. Started pouring rain as soon as i got on 95. Car was all dolled up, but whatever. I was mad for 2 minutes, then i said who gives a crap. Everyone else is in the same boat. Got to the show, much better organized than last year from what i've heard. I was in my spot on the field by 8. Great time, great experience, great cars. I think i counted 8 F40's, 6 F50's. I drove in behind an F50 and the sound was unreal. There were TWICE as many cars there this year compared to last year. My car did very well. First showing at an exotic event, first time being judged as opposed to judging (NCRS judging). Was a pleasant experience. Great people. All the owners next to me were fantastic people. Great time. heard there was a F40LM but didn't leave my car the whole day.

Stunning pictures, thanks for sharing everyone. Great to see a familiar F50 which was once owned by a late friend of mine, all his Ferrari's were parked in a circular garage, the middle of which was a statue of Enzo Ferrari.

no, but all 360's got a platino. my wife commented on how many cars in so many rows did NOT get a ribbon. i didn't noticed until she said that to me. was odd, however i know of at least one car on the field that was not being judged....and it wasn't a "special" ultra exotic model either so who knows.
