Mike is offering it for a fair price as a classified ad. At $165k, it should sell quickly. What happened to all of the buyers who were looking for a gated manual F355?
He’s now asking the same it went for on BAT which he let go RNM, of course Pcar will never get anywhere close to bat, the seller should have taken the bat result 2 months ago.
Don't know about that, but the bottom line is that there were 3 bidders chasing the car at the end of the auction and after the last bid neither of the other bidders would go over $147k.
I'm not sure but my gut feeling is the entire car was repainted. Would like to see paint meter. Would not matter to me depending on the reason/documentation of before and after. Not the only indicator of course but one thing that stood out to me is the factory shields. To -me- looks like the fenders were skimmed with filler and blocked back leaving the top edges of the recess sharper rather than a small radius. (and shields seem sunk deeper than other factory equipped cars). ?

First time 355 seller here. Would like to hear thoughts on value add for a robust service history. 97 RC Spider, Gated w/28k miles. Recently had its 3rd EO, guides done during 2nd EO, 3 inch binder totaling 45k in service all at 8-10k increments. Near new tool kit, satin seat covers. Car is very clean all around. Paint has been recently corrected and coated and looks like liquid. Speedline modulars, Tubi, Brembos only mods. Searched high and low to find documentation like this one. Need to make room in garage and curious what a clean car with this much documentation should be worth opposed to a car with flaws and a single EO. Looks great. Do you have the factory wheels? I think that would help with obtaining new buyers. People generally prefer OEM wheels. That being said, I’d estimate 80-90k sales price
Probably higher than that. Although the maintenance history has value, it really is a "tie breaker" between similar cars. The mods on your car may not be desirable to everyone, but the Rosso/tan combo is always a favorite for those looking for their first F-Car. The real appeal to yur car is the recent EO service and manual transmission. I'd ask $110k and drop pricing as willing (targeting a $100k sale.)
nice GTS back available https://wearecurated.com/1998-ferrari-f355-gts/ Previously on BAT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1998-ferrari-f355-gts-3/ ….Funny reading the comments about the selling amount 2 1/2 years later.
I’m sure, but it’s very unclear where the market is for that type of car given that there are 2-3 available at sky high asking prices that have been sitting…
