I have an Alfa Gulia with a shimmy in the front above 75.
Changed the tires balanced and aligned its still there.

What i need is a real good tire alignment places. Possibly one wheel has a twist or it just needs more attention to detail than the average shop.

Who are the best people in Se Florida, im in Stuart but will travel to Lauderdale Boca Jupiter etc to sort.

it really needs someone who knows what they're doing and will look at the wheels and see, not a just slap on the machine and say ok.

    Suggestions?

I can’t recommend a specific shop, but at minimum, use one that will perform a road force balance to get the tire and wheel aligned to one another to minimize runout of the assemble and get the best possible starting point for a good balance.
I believe Tire Rack’s website can point you towards on of their vendors that provide this service.

I wanted mine done the old fashioned way…ie…cheap and right…had a shimmy above 70 mph and pulled to the right. 1966 911.

this guy’s old school. Ended up needing 2 wheels and an alignment. He’s not afraid for you to watch and ask questions.

He or you will drive the car ‘till it’s right. Doesn’t see this as brain surgery…just spent his life aligning and balancing.

Call Ernie Bello Motorsports in West Palm (561-686-1941)- he's the man.
Tell him I send my regards.

I believe Ernie has retired, but his shop remains open, now owned and operated by former staff, so very well trained and competent. Same phone number too.

If Marcello is running the place it'll remain a quality shop- he's a good guy.
