Ty. I have always looked at the design being beautiful but the wheels do just enough to bring it all forward 20 years. Subtle.

Stick, non-M. Neither is negotiable. Prefer a well-kept driver with 50k+ on the odometer and to save some money. Tan interior. Love TdF. Might have to import since I haven’t found much that ticks all the boxes. Been close many times, just hasn’t happened yet.

@yudkib are you in CA? Not being here would be great from the import perspective since CA is so hardcore. I do think that if I could find that one perfect “forever car” after a multi year domestic search then I would consider an overseas option.

I have said it before….I love a long painful, very specific search. When I told my wife I was going to embark on the hunt for what became my vintage Baja racer ‘69 Meyers Manx I was prepared to search forever OR send a European friend to knock on the Frenchman’s door that ultimately bought my Grandpas (I hunted it down to an area SE of Paris).

If my storage space and wife’s patience could allow a 456 then @ttforcefed would be the ticket for me!

Why do I get the feeling that BaT put your car on immediately after the 2003 GTA I bought, as a strategic move?

I'd have bid on yours, but since I just bought one I will be very interested to see what the market offers for yours.

Hopefully I'll be happy with mine when I actually pick it up, but the electrical & smog issues on these cars are a little frightening - particularly seats getting stuck, disabling the car inappropriately etc. The car I bought has had the smog pump issues and various other electrical gremlins according to the service records ... I hope this has them sorted for a while, as I do want to drive it.

Yes its definately strategic by them, except when its not.. Glad to see a steady GTA turnout, this one needs some interior love

Two people clearly really, really want this car, which should make for a great finale. The dark blues / tans on these seem to just go absolutely gangbusters and no guess is too high.

The top of the GTA market will be established this morning.
Cool. I do miss the chrome rings on the dash vents but other than that POIFECT !

Almost why is almost every ashtray in a 456M cracked ? Even at such a low mileage. Cracked. Both of mine when I first got the car…cracked. I just wonder why.

Well, $128 is a massive price. A "seller is happy" moment for sure.
Admittedly a very fine example, but I wouldn't have paid that.

Still an exceptional result. I didn’t think it would break 100 personally, but wasn’t shocked when it got there. $120k+ was not on my radar. I looked out of curiosity and even Hagerty’s has a 1 at like $88k. This is as fine of an example as you’ll ever, and I mean ever, see in a GTA - but still, wow.

While it is an outstanding example, I do not think it's as different from other very low mileage GTAs as you imagine.

The buyer obviously has significant funds and already has a 456 GT, so it's monopoly money for him really. I hope he enjoys looking at it.

I'll be spinning the ring out of mine this spring ...

SAS with the red stick car raised the price $30k after the recent MGTA auction. I guess it's possible it might be pending sale. Or it might be they decided to keep the car for the next 5 years.

    Holy moly Mondial, Batman!

    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-ferrari-mondial-t-cabriolet-13/

Think this will continue to push the 80s Ferraris out of reach for the masses? E30 BMWs (nearly all of them now), as well as Delorean have gone from affordable classics to expensive collectables. Will this continue to drive up the 456 prices by proxy too? Seems 348s have long since gotten pricey, and they are nearly the same car, is a $100k 348 the next norm?

seller is a great sport about it at least. I’d love to be retired and give ****-all about what people thought of my, shall we say, “thoroughly loved” Ferrari.
