Had a customer show up yesterday in a black 2005 Mazda 3 sedan, wants me to find her a black Ford Territory. HAS to be black she said, HAS to be black............. it's my favourite colour she reckons. I laughed and said it's my favourite colour also lol (which it is) She asked me to save her number in my phone so I can call her when I find her a black Ford Territory. Her name was Aunty Sandra. I said no worries, what's your last name Sandra, she said just call me Aunty Sandra love and she asked me to save her name as Aunty Sandra in my phone. Which I did lol "Make sure you call Aunty Sandra when you find a car!" Yes Aunty Sandra, I will do. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This will end in tears Pap, silly dealing with 'em . A real quick way of losing ALL the assets you have worked so hard and long for. A first major issue and they will point the bone at you.
Well if one of 'em kills someone with an unregistered car , the authorities will come . To start with charge you with .........Unconscionable trading. As per. The client has difficulties reading and writing Lacks basic financial skills English NOT a first language? Live in remote areas Lack of ability to drive said car Client going through difficult times at the time of purchase ...domestic violence, drinking Have mental disabilities Targeting this type of consumer . I could go on with more reasons you could be charged
You do KNOW Telstra was fined 50 million dollars for unconscionable trading sales to ingenuous consumers? And DON'T say they signed a contract. That will be classed by Federal or State authority as "an unfair contract"
Oh and the 50 million dollar handed out to Telstra by the Federal court was for dealing with just 100 clients...............NOT 1,000s
You men have got it all wrong, they have taken advantage of us "whities" for the last 60+ years with handout after handout after handout, so Pappy is doing us all a favour and recouping some of this wasted tax payers money by selling them Holden Commodores by the hundreds.
Wake up to yourself fool, do you think if I was doing anything wrong I would share my tricks with you dodgey pricks on a public forum? I have a registered ABN since 2010, I run a registered business from "home" which is zoned Medium Commercial which I am allowed to do, I sell them cars that have been repaired and in good, safe running condition, with RW's if they require them to register here in QLD. Sometimes they still want a QLD RW to take back to the NT with them, even though they can't use them there and they know it. They pay them off interest free with cash, direct debit or Centrelink does direct transfer into my bank account using my business account and I have to supply a 3 month warranty for my cars if Centrelink or NILS make payment on their behalf which I am happy to do for them when I sign the contract. I have repaired a left rear door lock actuator on a VE sedan under "warranty" and a drive shaft centre bearing on a Ford Territory also and that's about it. I run a legit business here and pay tax just like everyone else, the big difference is I don't have to advertise or pay $100K pa for a shed/yard/shop front for these cars which is what makes it all worthwhile for me. As I said in the past, I don't make much money from these cars, but I enjoy fixing them on my days off and I enjoy helping people out. And I actually only started doing this **** to give the profits to my Mum and Dad when they were still alive because the pension paid **** all and they eventually took my Mum's entire pension money of $180 per fortnight and her pension card off her in February 2021, 4 months before she passed away. The Brother and I paid the $900 p/month for her tablets till she passed away, which was not a problem of course, I just wish she was still alive and I was still giving her this car money. Back to business..... There is nowhere in town that lets them pay off cars interest free and treats them like actual valued customers and I appreciate all their business which is why they keep coming back and they bring their friends and families with them also. Every car I sell gets cleaned inside and out, tyre shine, new floor mats and steering wheel cover and I even put in a Black Ice smelly tree in there for them cause I like that particular one. Costs me $50 for all that crap from SuperCheap and takes an hour or so to do before they come and pick the car up. Most used car lots don't give that level of service here or around the country, especially on a $3000 POS Holden Commodore. But your boy Pappy does it and I don't even wash my own cars. I've got one car left for sale, an average VZ Commodore sedan which arrived last Wednesday from Brisbane and I have 6 people wanting to buy it, 3x called and messaged me today about it. I am holding the car for the first person that asked for it the other day, even though he hasn't paid up yet, he will pay a deposit next Wednesday apparently. Two people wanted to give me a $500 and $1000 deposit for it today, but I told them I am waiting to hear back from the first person that was interested and they are happy to wait or they will wait for the next car to come along. I still have parts coming for it anyway, so it's all good. I am trying to buy 3x more Commodores out of Brisbane right now but not having much luck at the moment. But let me tell you something, dealing with drug ****ed junkies in Brisbane is much more difficult than dealing with black fellas that want "a quality used vehicle at a quality used price." (That's the Murri Motors slogan btw )
Good for you mate, most of these idiots know nothing about you I am still grateful for what you did for Troy and hope the boys he roomed with are doing well
You know how I know I'm doing the right thing or trying to do the right thing? Because I'm not making much money from doing this. If I were a dodgey ****, I would be a multimillionaire by now living on the Gold Coast driving my LaFerrari lol.
I really do like that car. In 20 years time when I get to the GC, that will be my DD because it will be 20 years old and only $50K to buy it.
