I’m no expert Pat and it could be all in the mind but the lemon helps believe it or not [emoji4]

 

My Mum was a fresh lemon and tomato fiend! LOVED them both, she suffered from severe gout also I might add lol.

I love lemons and lemon juice.

I drink bulk amounts of water and it's not as good as fresh lemon, but I like putting a nice squeeze of Woolies branded lemon juice into my 1.5L bottles of water I drink through the day.

And a squirt of the same juice into my food most times, depending on what I am eating at the time. I love it.

 

Ah!, cleans you out it does[emoji12] Its really refreshing after exercise or working your tits off [emoji16]

And a bit of fresh lemon juice won’t do you any harm anyway... unlike most of the ‘wonder’ cures touted by some people. I’m always amazed by the absolute junk people will eat if it comes with some sort of ‘miracle’ lable.

 

Years ago I was in Fiji at a conference, and a very wealthy Melbourne businessman of Italian origin was there as well..
We got on very well as we were both Bentley car owners .........Anyway I mention how I would get stomach reflux, told me he had it for years but had cured it by, every morning drinking plain "hot water"

Lol, not sure about cleaning me out, I just love the flavour I guess.

Fresh lemon squeezed onto my salads is wonderful, that's what I really like putting lemon through.

My Dad has 2x lemon trees planted in his yard, they should start producing lemons later this year I reckon.

 

All my life I have pissed on my lemon trees,it works well.

There is a local corner store here that sells the BEST lemons that I have ever tasted. Probably the best in the world I reckon.

I used to buy them from there all the time for my Mum. A lot more expensive than Coles/Woolies, but Mum loved them so I didn't mind paying the extra for them.

I don't buy them for myself anymore, because I don't have a reason to go to that store anymore since Mum passed away, but they are delicious and I should go and get some.

Funnily enough, that little store is located in the same complex as your favourite..........Red Rooster.

 

Red Rooster is a SC meal with over 18 stores within spitting distance of each other .
