    The tech they use to create the frosted gold effect is really cool, as is the frosted gold, but man it definitely attracts attention. Very nice.

    Wow! Anybody can have a real Speedmaster but only a select few can have a MoonSwatch (... the crazy people willing to line up at 8:00 AM an hour before a store opens). :p

    For the record, I was crazy enough to line up a couple of times in London (Covent Garden Swatch) and once in Paris (Louvre Swatch) to try to get a MoonSwatch. No luck.

    I didn't have to wait very long. All the MoonSwatches I have I just walked into the store and bought them. Sunday afternoon, I was at the mall watching a friend's dance performance and walked into the store. They told me they weren't selling any today. However, they had a special event that I could attend at 7-9 Sunday and they would be selling the Mission to the Moon exclusively. Went at 6:30 to get in line, got in about 7:45 and was out of there in a few minutes. They even had MoonPies as snacks. (Ooh, now I get te reson for the MoonPies!)

    It was pretty embarrassing in the line as one of the Swatch store workers recognized me and said, "Oh, you usually come in the day time!" :oops:

    I love the artisanship involved and have huge respect for the work, but I don't think these are necessarily my cup of tea with the Rolexes. Maybe I am a bit of a purist for that part, maybe if it wasn't a Submariner or a Daytona. For these two watches I think it makes them a bit too busy for me and harder to read the time.
