I highly recommend not having shields. It makes the car look classier and shields are only really for racing Ferraris or maybe even special Ferraris (eg. F40, Enzo, ect.).

Looks good with or without shields but having them was cool when it was a stravaganza for the hard core tifosi. Now almost everybody has them, it has become the new resale red over tan.

I think it looks great without them. That being said, if it isn't a long-term hold for you, not having shields can make resale slightly more difficult.

Romo also looks far better without. 812 with the large fenders needs painted shields.

Be careful with the painted shields. I saw them on an F8 and they didn’t look right, not enough space on the fender. Also have seen them on a 812 and a Monza and they look beautiful because of all the space available on the fender.

I don't really like the shields. I think it clutters the side of the car unnecessarily.

Cleaner look without the shields. The BB's and 308's never had them and did not look out of place. However, the shields do provide a certain advertisement.

Shields are classy and unique. Not having really lowers the specialness of the car in my opinion.

I went no shields more due to my spec. The yellow shields would look off with silver calipers and carbon center caps.

Also the short wheelbase and smaller size of 296 doesn’t need shields.
