Doesn't look like the spec that CJ would buy. He's only into pukka factory in period spec. Clearly fishing today Arvin.
I think CJ is too canny to buy anything in the current market. Looking at the latest auction results (i.e. collecting cars, trading garage, car & classic - uk ), prices really seem to be softening and as interest rates tighten and as people finally get into their thick heads that inflation is going to be around for a while (and hence rates staying higher for longer) and that the world post Covid 19 has truly changed, I think car prices will come down a bit more. Would CJ really buy another car when he has too many to maintain already? Surely he's too smart to buy another OHOS. Who knows, maybe the predicted food and energy shortages will start to eventuate too. The only thing that will be keep markets above water (and hence car prices flattish) is the PBoC (Chinese Central Bank) flooding its economy with massive liquidity (US$450 B in the last 2 months apparently) and this flows around the world. The US Fed has also been surreptitiously increasing liquidity by being selective of its securities that its letting run down in its QT program. I think the Fed primarily is trying to keep their debt/treasury markets as stable as possible by making sure liquidity is the market. If we avoid a global recession this year, its because of the above. But really, who knows what will happen over the next 12 months.
Are these good value or not, they seem cheap in price compared to Porker 911s of the same period ! Like this one 2017 4,000kms 180k asking Why? Image Unavailable, Please Login

I liked the Cooper S, too, but wouldn't have gone that high. I was looking at the Triumph X-75 Hurricane. Sold for $40,500. I'm at mid thirties
