Great news: Lance is back and will participate in the Bahrain GP!

Yeah.

 

If he beats Alonso race day that will be hilarious.

 

Update. Stroll is back.

 

The only way for that to happen is:

1) Alonso has an incident that takes him out or DNF's during the race.

2) Alonso bikes the track walk and literally falls off the bike and breaks both his wrists therefore nullifying from the race.

 

Does anyone think there is a CHANCE that Stroll outqualifies Alonso this weekend? I mean, anything can happen in the race, but hard to imagine Stroll beating him in outright pace.

Here's Stroll's interview after the race:

Naomi: "So Stroll, care to comment on your qualifying and race pace against Alonso?"

Stroll: "Yeah, the lack of practicing because I fell off my bicycle just set me back a bit and YEAH it wasn't where I want to be so YEAH....still waiting for the screws to get taken off of my wrist..... but next week I should be 100%.

What else can he say really.

 

"Im sure Fernando will have us ready for the next race"

"His experience is so valuable"

"I can rest easy knowing any issues that we find will be handled by him and all the personnel who support me"

 

I think F1 drivers and the reporters are required to insert “YEAH” into every sentence they speak, no matter where they are from. Coming soon will be “Like, I Was Like, He Was Like”. Pitiful.

 

Stroll uses "YEAH" alot during his interviews....whether that's a Canadian thing or something is only because of him. Everyone else on the grid doesn't use that word as much as Stroll does.

Did Seb watch that this weekend and go, “fine, okay, I’ll feel in for stroll”

 

I think it would be more like:: "fine, OK, I think I will go out for a stroll around the block".....

 

Bahrain 2023 qualifying.

22 years since his F1 debut and Alonso gets the AMR23 into P5....beating both Mercedes drivers.

Stroll managed a P8.

The car is solid. Once Stroll gets better, I'm sure he can place the car in a better position. (I'm going out on a limb...)

I wonder if Lawrence Stroll is going to thank Alonso for the increase in stock price due to his 3rd place finish?

Oh wait, Lawrence Stroll will more than likely mention his son's finish in the Bahrain Grand Prix was the cause of the increase in the.stock price..........please.

 

Grande Fernando! Keep up the good work, Lawrence Stroll will appreciate his talent and foster car development.
