I agree with you that watching someone destroy a beautiful classic like a 308 is more disappointing than an F8 but I don’t want to watch any of it.

It's difficult to watch people disrespect money and rare items, especially when its a YTuber and their primary audience is children.

Is it not your money though? Is it not your car to do whatever you want with?

I sympathize with you, I do. It was not easy for me to watch honestly, but it is what it is as they say.

It's a free country. We don't have to agree in the things we do so long as what we do isn't harming others. His money, his fun. Appears to be on his property as well.

Whistlin averages roughly 10 million views per month (this isn't accounting for all his other video views growth over the month) this is just new uploads. Each view is 18 cents. He generates $1.8M a month for YouTube, and he keeps 68% or $1.2M, He's what I'd consider rich. He has 1 video from a year ago which paid him after YouTubes cut, $3M from 1 video. MrBeast on the other hand? He made $32M after youtubes cut last month, and 1 video was practically free and the other video they spent $500,000 on a plane ticket. Jimmy claims he has way too much overhead to make any money? he's becoming filthy rich. I mean filthy.

Just to put in some perspective. Trust me, if Whistlin was making Mrbeast money? he'd be destroying all types of collector items and the world would just watch. I believe at some point, if he gets a much larger audience we will see it shift to collectors. Pewdiepiew now days averages the same view count per month as Whistlin, and in his lifetime, he's made roughly $342 million after Youtubes cut, but he has been in the game A lot longer 05 era. $76M is Whistlins all time pay based on all view count. So, destroying a bugatti or a $600,000 car, really isn't anything especially when it's going to generate around $1.8M total.

Beast on the other hand has made after Youtubes Cut $3B, and taxes on that is roughly 50%. With a true net value of $1.5B, which is why he hands out 500k like it isn't anything, because it isn't.

The math is off just a little, maybe a couple decimal points. As an advertiser, I can buy YouTube views for between $5 to $20 CPM. If Whistlin was truly making $0.18 per view, that would mean it would cost the advertiser $180 CPM with Google receiving ZERO. Theoretically, I can buy all 10M of his views for between $50,000-$200,000. Of course, advertising commission from Google is only part of the professional YouTuber’s revenue stream. They also forge sponsorships, product placement, direct sales, e-commerce stores, Paterson accounts, etc.

Thanks for clearing that up, I'd say it very well could be much less. This was a rough estimate based off information found on google about the YouTube pay system, other sources claim .03-.05, very well could be a quarter of profit or even much less. Also, when you say purchase view count, do you mean an advertisement slot directed towards his viewers?
