    Greetings, first post.

    Were there significant changes/fixes to the California T between 2014 - 2016?

I've arranged for Ferrari to do an inspection on a 2014 Cali T this week, if all good then I will pull the trigger (price agreed with dealer).

However, a 2015 and 2016 have recently become available - aside from being newer are there any burning reasons (changes/updates/fixes) to consider them?

Would have been great but none of the cars have HS. Only a handful in Europe with HS and with a large premium. I have asked Ferrari about retrofitting the HS exhaust as it does seem to sound better

MY 2014 would be the original Cali ... (not the T). Someone correct me if I am wrong. Build date might be 2014.

MY2016-17 got the Handling Speciale. Hth. Good Luck.

Think it was launched spring 2014 - the one I'm looking at is dated June 2014 - it's definitely a T. Pictures and chassis/VIN confirm it.

That makes sense - obviously why I've seen so few HS cars - as i was looking primarily at 2014/2015 cars.

    Thanks :)

Not sure if this is a "burning" reason but it at least might smolder slightly. Some of the early Cali T cars produced in 2014 were used as dealer demo cars. For example, I was offered a used 2014 build car with 2015 title status which was used around 9,000 miles by the factory and dealer before first owner took title. This car was used in some magazine reviews so it may have been used a bit harshly for a new engine. I found a later 2016 car through the same dealer which did not have the usage uncertainty a dealer demo and journalist tester might have. Carfax was the way for me to learn this pre-title mileage. I preferred a one owner used-in-the-neighborhood car.

Good point I hadn't considered that. Unfortunately, the car was originally registered in Germany - and they have mad data protection laws so am unable to get carfax info on it. I'm waiting for copies of service history and other documentation which should give me a better picture of previous owners etc.

    thanks for the heads up..
