I've had and driven numerous quality 911s ,nothing points or steers like a well set up 911. That trip I did to the last Adelaide GP on Melbourne cup day 95/96! I did in around 5 hours 30mins one stop fuel Nothing in that period registered would stick with a 993RS . I suggest you go and drive a 911 or perhaps not .
I've driven 2, a 930 which scared the hell out of me with the way the turbo kicked in and a 911 2.7 which was underwhelming I know they are capable cars but they just bore me

Disappointing qualy, I'm 23rd out of 30 cars Damp track, I gambled on slicks, needed 3 laps before I could get any power down. Then a lot of traffic to clear on lap 4, I finally got going on a fast lap and we were red flagged. Anyhoo, will be a lot of fun working up through the field. I've asked David to buy me a new book of driver excuses in case I can't get to the podium...
John Watson qualified 22nd at Long Beach 1983 in the MP4/1C and won the race. Lauda qualified just behind him and followed him to second. You don’t need the book - you just need to back yourself.
