    That’s the point.
Easy to praise the team when everything goes well.
When things aren’t on your side, then you have to shut up publicly and acts quietly with people inside the team.
    Not acting like a crybaby.

The other guy in the same car can't beat Leclerc regularly, and that guy is no slouch.

Lewis' teammates over the years, on the other hand...

    Disagree,
Mercedes gave him the most extraordinary cars to drive in the whole Formula One history ( 7 dominant cars in a row !)
He just acts like an ******* with them, period.

Nothing wrong in criticising your car, IMO, as long as it's constructive and done behind closed doors.
But F1 has turned into a reality show, where everything is exposed.
Toto and Hamilton voice publicly their frustration as a leverage to spur the designers.
I sense a conflict between the management and the technical team at Mercedes.

    Fully agree.
We all know this is fully counterproductive in the end.

Alot of staff have moved / been promoted, Its no shocked that the Merc have failed to produce a competitive car while at the same time ignoring its drivers feed back, even more so when they have said what is happening in reality with the car is not matching up with what they expected on models, The aero department is working handicapped while ignoring its only reality driven feed back.

I would guess, its been spoken about, but those behind the scene have not listened, which is why Allison is back and both Toto and LH have said why, and its also worth noting LH is most likely just following a PR comment sheet from the team, as all the teams drivers do.

Why you seem to think its bad is beyond me, Max literally calls his team morons, idiots, tells em to **** off, lays into every single mistake they make openly on team radio and after in interviews.

Most of the grids most respected and rated drivers have all critised their teams.

Why you only finding fault when Lewis does?.

Driver feed back is obviously important, Just ask Max at Redbull who design the car specifically how Max tells them how he wants it, and how every team that sign alonso value his input blah blah blah. and lets not forget one of the best drivers ever in MSC whos opinion and advice won countless titles, Heck ferrari built its entire team to fgollow his lead.. a team not acting as a team isnt one not free from being called out, if one department feels its above the team and they know best even when they admit they cant correlate its data, then changes are needed.

Let’s be real… Schumacher was as unfriendly as it gets in interviews… no media skills … Hamilton might be fake to some but he is a lot less boring and more entertaining than Michael was…
Did u watch Michael on top gear ? OMG the guy didn’t have much of a personality (in the media that is;)

So why , if he is such a diva, a cancer, and the car would win no matter what, why did they keep him?
    Marketing?
Are really within the team and at team meetings ?
Personally I’m not, all I here is radio talk on TV during the Grand Prix, and interviews. I don’t know anyone personally at Mercedes to tell me how Lewis is acting

it REALLY depended which media he was talking to. He had a long history with British Media he was quite short with because...guess what, they had their hate campaign against him too. Just like Alonso and now Verstappen suffer. Beat the Brit, expect abuse.

Marketing is one aspect. Who fires their winning driver? Just because he's a diva? Not enough reason, no. When the advantage eventually subsides, you want someone to be capable to challenge for the wins and titles. Bottas never was that. Had Mercedes thrown Lewis out in 2020, assuming the replacement was someone at Bottas' level, they wouldn't have challenged for the title (same goes the other way btw, had RB not had Max in 2021 they wouldn't have won it).

Things were not "going well" after the Bharain race. Lewis appreciated and encouraged the team after the race. Many instances where things are not going well and he praises the team. My point is why are people so quiet when he praise his team but loud when he doesn't? I specifically waited for a comment about him praising his team from haters after the race. Silence. Just silence. Strange silence. All a sudden a article come out and everybody forgets about everything in the race and focus on Hamilton. Now I cant hear myself think because of all the noise from haters.

If Shcumacher didn't have a personality, it doesn't matter what media he speaks to. No media can create a personality for him

    Ah, those pesky Brits !!
I guess Schumacher would have endeared himself more with the media if he had he been less aggressive on the track.
Sportmanship and the notion of fair play is deeply engrained in our character.

No, I am refering to my British citizenship. :)
I don't think one can translate sportmanship and fair play in French, do you ?
The closer one can get is sportivité, and franc-jeu, which don't translate the meaning, because these notions are alien to the French. .
If you say in France "J'admire son franc-jeu", nobody knows what you are taking about. :p

Indeed, in fact as you know, we use the same exact wording fair play when talking about sports.
We used to say either : Brits are always fair-play, especially when they win !:D
