Recently got an '82 GTSI and been ordering parts for overdue replacement. Several sites I go to only list '81's
Is there any reason for this I'm not aware of ? My previous car was an '81 and most parts I'm looking to replace are the same. Thanks

    Per Rifledriver.
It's the same car. 1980,81,82 - 2 valve injected. Except for the clock/oil temperature gauge arrangement on the earliest year.
There may be other subtle differences, however, the mechanical /body panels, electrical etc are the same.
