It took Gro 28s to escape his accident because the car was wedged in the barrier. They got plenty of time.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, well it was a late practice and Qualifying session, so maybe I was dreaming. Check it out during the race this morning.
So, with Johnny Herbert and Paul Di Resta gone, we get to listen to much, much more of Naomi Schiff's clueless opinions. She's never raced in F1, never won a race in the laughably slow W series where her best result was 10th. Her qualifications are skin colour and gender. We mustn't dare say that out loud of course. Meanwhile the on track commentary is still dominated by David Croft's specious inanity. On what planet would you sack Herbert and keep Croft?
Fabulous drive by Alonso, pure class. The pommy commentators still in denial about Lewis, who demonstrated his inability to lift a 2nd rate car.
What a great drive by Alonso! As much as I want the Ferraris to win, I wouldn't mind seeing Alonso up there on the podium every now and then, he's still one of my favorite drivers. Ferrari? I'll give them one or two more race weekends before I write them off I reckon.
I’m with you Pap. As disappointed as I was when Chuck retired, I was equally excited watching Alonso ‘race’. Holding back when he had to, attacking when he had to and making it stick when he had to. He’s as good as he ever was.
Lot of speculation about Hamilton joining Ferrari next year. That really will be the end for me if that happens. I’ll be on the Alonso / Piastri train.
I'd stop watching F1 and poo poo Ferrari every chance I get, but it's not gunna happen .... just a slow news week for the pommy press
For those that haven’t checked the news… 10 place grid penalty for Chuck following his DNF last race. P1 starts in just under 4 hours https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.leclerc-remains-confident-that-something-special-is-definitely-possible-in.77UOebxXcCmM1q54IPePbx.html
I just read an article where the Hamster says he ain't going anywhere. But...........never say never.
