1:43 The 60 Acura loses a wheel!!! Disaster! The 10 dives in before the yellow, and a yellow is for sure coming... The 7 comes in... These would be the second to last stops.
The BMW GTP doesn't have a dry break system for the brakes? Weird it was so hard for them to replace that rotor and not just replace the whole corner. Sent from my SM-G970U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
you'd think they would...plus that service didn't look well practiced. maybe the rules changed... I know ganassi was doing that with dry breaks.... super odd it was only the left corner... sjd
Only thing I can think is they didn't expect to do brakes and didn't have a corner prepared. Hard to imagine at that level not being ready for anything and everything. Sent from my SM-G970U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Damn..I get everyone going for the win but that sucks. Sent from my SM-G970U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ridiculous... but you know what? It's part of multi-class racing. Getting jammed up and being able to read those situations is key....you could see it coming back on the front straight. I feel bad for the team guys who busted their rears all day to get the car in a position to win... sjd
green with 3 full laps.... 31 Cadillac wins overall LMP2 #8 Scott Mclaughlin is a sebring winner!! That's pretty awesome. Lmp3 Riley and company know how to do it the #9 porsche in GTD Pro and the #1 in GTD with the BMW.
I see it as a racing incident. When he went to the inside I don't think the Porsche saw him. Once he was on the grass there was no slowing down. Sebring is wild lol. Sent from my SM-G970U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I still don't know how the Tower P2 car came back. Look at the list of winners and they are some of the top teams every year. (WHELEN, Riley, Pfaff and Paul Miller). All are always contenders. Sent from my SM-G970U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Honestly, it's probably both of them.... the 10 getting some comeuppance for forcing the 6 off twice, and then not giving up...seems like he wall rode for quite a bit... sjd
the magic of IMSA rules and the wave around. Luck plays a big part of it, they were talking on the broadcast about giving everyone a pass by pit in before throwing the yellow... I'm sure that was some of it...you pit before a yellow is thrown and before pit lane closes and you go to the front when everyone else pits under yellow.
