    Nothing yet at the moment.

A puff of smoke was seen before they told him to stop the car.

He has margin for an additional 5s penalty (10s would be harsh...)

It sucks that Ferrari is behind Mercedes, but I think they are at the same level, just bad luck pitting right before the SC, like you said. Mercedes may be way ahead on strategies and how to respond to given situations. Hearing Leclerc scold his engineer does not bode well.

    A shame !
    Alonso deserved this podium.
On the other hand his starting position mistake was unacceptable.

Well there we go. Redbull 1.5s a lap faster than everyone. Snore season ahead. Well done Perez for ignoring the instructions to slow down and risk gifting the race to Max. And good recovery drive from Max - with a nice touch for fastest lap at the end.

Shame for Alo - utterly ridiculous jackman - he needs firing immediately for total incompetence.

Merc is utterly sh***, but a better race car than expected. Still need to fire the design team and start again.

But however rubbish the Merc is, it’s a towering achievement compared to the McLaren. What a debacle. One of the strongest driver line ups in Norris and Piastri totally wasted on that POS car.

Overall, a snore fest of a race. I won’t be watching all races ‘live’ this season. No point.

Alonso´s race wasted for two silly mistakes. **** happens.

Tin foil hat ON- Stroll´s problem was faked so Alonso could pit under safety car.

Our guys lacked pace. The penalty and the timing of the safety car didn´t help either.

When they were both in hards, LeClerc just couldn’t get within DRS of Sainz after a couple of laps. The interval was at 2+ and slowly trending worse.

I know LeClerc is better than Sainz, but not sure why LeClerc couldn’t close the gap in the final 15+ laps. Maybe it’s that the car is a dog, particularly on hards here, and LeClerc’s better driving only becomes noticeable when the car (for both drivers) is faster.

If MB can trash their car, why can't Ferrari? The obvious answer is that they can, but they don't have the brains to do so. So what if they blow the budget cap, they've already lost the season...and if they're lucky they will finish 4th...if they're lucky. So just go all out, build the new car, and at least have a car that can win.

    and he said this:

Hamilton: There was a 50/50 split on set-up. I chose one way and he chose the other. I could only match his pace rather than be quicker.

Get the Ferrari pit wall some Zantac. ;)
After the SC, they just gave up.

As expected, Ham's tires went off the last five laps, but Carlos was too far back to take advantage.
Why didn't they let Charles go ahead to try to keep in touch?
Were they so sure the Ferrari would eat hards faster than the Merc ate mediums?

That "park on track" instruction to Stroll was 2008 all over again.
The SC that didn't have to be.
Just to (try to) benefit Alonso ...
.... but boosted Max and Ham also.
Anyone think the 10s penalty was because they realized the SC was a mistake?
