We learned almost everything there is to learn about Lewis Hamilton in 2016. George isn't doing anything that hasn't been done before, and it's just taken a while for the rest of y'all to catch up. ;)

Well, he had a very good car at the time; I'm really interested in what will happen this season, when at the wheel of a mid-field contender...although I know that during the last years, we came to learn that a quick turn-around of performance has become very rare.
Will he be able to win at least one race?

Since the 2013 Spanish GP in fact.

I predicted that Alonso would never win a GP again when he left Ferrari.

So far I am right !

    Yup.

And someone please explain to me the reasoning of not listening to their supposed car designing/technical input GOD and listen to their rookie instead? It makes ZERO sense whatsoever.

And whilst we're at it, I never want Merc, lewis or their braindead fans hear about it again how **** their car is. They're beating Ferrari ffs.

Thought both LH n GR said they are not being listened too?

Thought you said Merc was going to finish behind RB,AM, and Ferrari?

Compared to RedBull, every bodys cars are ****.

As losing a race to your team mate makes the one losing ****, Is Perez now better than Max? After all, your only as good as your last race, Right? and Max finished 2nd?

Or does it only count over a season eg LH v GR / Alonso v OCON? or is this also dependent on WHO we are nit picking on?

It's obvious that Hamilton isn't as fast as he was, and that Russell is becoming the leader at Mercedes.

Hamilton's form has been declining since 2021. He still has experience, but his motivation is fading away, IMO.

I dont think it is, LH always takes a few races to get upto speed, i dont think ive ever seen LH start a season on form, only after a good handfull of races 6-10 he picks it up. Rosberg is quite keen to point this out, its how Rosberg beat LH to a title was by being strongest at the start of the season ( not including reliability, it is apart of racing ).

Not defending LH, last race was poor, but at same time, LH clearly beat GR at first race, over the course of the race track, LH lost only in the first sector ( heard it being claimed he was down 0.4 on the first sector? or some thing )

So the new pattern for haters this year is when Hamilton finish ahead of Russell remain quiet. When Russell finish ahead of Hamilton go crazy?

I am talking about several seasons; you mention one race, one sector even !!!!

Hamilton started to make uncharacteristic mistakes early in 2021, and ended up losing the championship.

In 2022 he was a passenger at Mercedes, when Russell adapted to porpoising and did better.

This year is just confirmation. I think the hunger is gone.

In 2015 in the opening race, Lewis OUTQUALIFIED the best non-Mercedes by 1.4sec......
