When I specced my 599 GTO at the factory Ferrari suggested I put a prancing horse in black on the fuel filler flap. It cost 500 euro for an item costing a few cents for them to source. Did I wince? No. I was paying for what that little stick-on horse signified. Aka brand power. Same as Nike, Apple, not to mention silly watches with eye watering prices that can barely tell the correct time. Work hard, play harder.

I think the spec is amazing and as someone that has ordered tons of blue cars (mostly tdf) my only comment is that the car will be very dark with the dark blue interior too. If you like the white, maybe do navy dash and carpets and white seats with blue accents. Lighten up the interior and have a chic two-tone look. Could be fun. That’s what I’m thinking of for mine.

So the next big question is when will a VS version be shown and will it have the full tilt 812 engine or hybrid assist on the V12 or a turbo V6 with hybrid assist?

This is the LE/VS/VIP/whatever version you want to call it.

Hybrids/EV will be the festivus for the restivus...............

There is a video made by Turbo about different cars being one of them the Purosangue. In the middle of that video they’ve inserted a sequence with the assembling of the Purosangue.

The chassis looks pretty interesting actually..but again..built like any other car out there. Assembly line could be any factory. All built the same way now. It's almost like they have a shared formula for assembling a car.

I’m just wondering why there is no matte grigio option for the forged wheels, but there is for the base wheel [which is the most unimaginative wheel Ferrari has produced, imo.]

Also, why is there no Purosangue model-specific forum page?

I can't answer the first question but your 2nd inquiry has been asked multiple times on other threads as well but Rob, our moderator, doesn't seem to think the Purosangue deserves its own forum. I would guess because he doesn't think a Ferrari should be a crossover/SUV or maybe because he didn't get offered/order one?????

You can actually get a matte Grigio version of the forged wheel. Not sure if only through atelier/tailor made, but if you look at the build I posted recently from my Atelier appointment it is a matte Grigio of the forged. The wheel options in configurator don’t show it for some reason.

Quick question. Who are you guys competing against? The guys at the racket ball club..neighbors..local Ferrari club etc..why do you want this thing?

No malice..just wondering..to me..it makes no sense for a true Ferrari enthusiast to even consider such a vehicle.

Then it is not a vehicle for you. Your assumption is… interesting. Who are you competing against when you purchase your Ferrari(s)? For myself, I don’t see acquisitions of any kind as competitions. I freely admit I am not a true Ferrari enthusiast. I also enjoy other cars.
