Due to my insanity with perfection on my cars and scouring every millimeter, I came across something alarming in my rear wheel wells…. In the forward part of wheel well plastic liner, you’ll notice a wire tie on each side of the car that is apparently holding the lining to a screen behind it.. just one black wire tie in the middle of that vented portion of the liner— seriously Ferrari? A black wire tie??? Lolol- when I first noticed them, I was like ok, what the **** happened to the back of my car that I wasn’t aware of??

I just came from Ferrari Ft. Lauderdale and told one of the techs about it and he was shocked. Said he’d worked on a bunch of them and never noticed it. When I got to the dealer, the first thing I did was check every F8 there and I was very relieved to see every one had this (made me feel better about mine but also very surprised at Ferrari)… they couldn’t have made some plastic clip to attach these things? Lol

My tech trimmed the zip tie 1-2” piece that was sticking out and made it tight but all 4 F8’s at Ft. Lauderdale Ferrari including customer cars had the same wire tie technology

I don’t know why, but it doesn’t make me love them any less.

lol, ya, once I saw that they all have it, my concern about mine went away and now it's just funny and I'm totally ok with it also.

Ferrari…You should be better than zip ties. Aspire to be better than duct tape, Velcro and zip ties

The Pista has the same…but look at the the belly and see if the gap sealant is slopped on…very messy.

Lol- it’s actually amusing at this point. I guess these are things we get when ‘hand built’— uneven stitching, uneven panels, zip ties, spackle applied with the palm of your hand etc lol

Public company so the focus is profit not quality. The quality of my 2014 F12 is noticeably above the quality of my new F8.
