Charles is waiting to chose his future team after 2024.
    Wise decision I would say.
How could he trust liars like Elkann and Vigna ?
I don’t want him to be a new version of Alesi’s career.
    He deserves so much more.

he still has the problem that any move he can make is a move sideways at best...

+1 the closer new reg's and PU of 26 approach - uncertainty builds as who will be the best prepared and exploit those regs. I was thinking Mercedes would be doing better so that prediction was wrong. The RedBull showed in 21 how much stronger they were and it carries now into 22 and now 23.

He has 2 top teams other than Ferrari to opt for. Both Mercedes and Ferrari have lost or seen staff move. Interesting odds. Plus is Aston going to continue to be strong?? RedBull appear very stable but how long does Newey remain and does the new PU production yield a good wining potential PU.

I can't see it happening soon, apart for some sort of totally unexpected event.
Max is still young and at the top of his game, and Red Bull has a very good configuration with him and a #2 driver; it would not make sense (apparently) to have Max and Charles fighting for the title within Red Bull.

I can see this and also I think it would depend on what Max/Jos think together and advise the team as well. Max is one to simply get on with things overall. He might not see an issue with Lando and or Charles.

AUDI is the big unknown for the future. As a full factory team, they may turn to be very good, and a rival to Mercedes, at least.
There could be 2 very desirable seats at AUDI in years to come !!

So true. Those are desirable seats! Will be interesting to see who starts with Audi and what level they are competitive at.

I'd say slim to none. Max on a really long contract still. Maybe for 2028 when Max enters his last contract season if he doesn't extend.

I have the sensation that if Leclerc wants to win 1 race this year he should drive the 499 P in the WEC

Excessive enthusiam is misplaced at Ferrari; now they are aiming low.

Helps to finish and get points, refine the package and improve. Lack of testing makes many races early a test!

Maybe Hamilton retires at the end of season and Charles could be at Mercedes’?

This is what I was thinking. If I were Charles, I think I would risk it.

He doesn't give any sign of retirement yet.
With a salary like his, I can understand why !

It looks like Leclerc will have to recruit a bouncer soon to be left alone.

Okay, I get it. Ask for his autograph at the track or at Fiorano.

But leave the poor guy alone at his residence or on his private time. Geez.
