hhmmm clearly it was wrong choice of roads. We do Europe trips twice a year (have done for many years). I have never been concerned about lack of being able to have fun at speed.

    So, first quarter reveal then?

This being a "ho hum" ordinary production vehicle and not a VS, will the reveal be private-private? How tall does one need to get past the gate? Current V12 +/- deposit "tall enough?"

I'm thinking of a late graduation/matriculation gift for my son. We did a grand tour- factories, museums, collections and finished at Villa d'Este before we speccd my 812.

Just curious. (Local dealership is dealing with some personnel turnover issues.)

If it is anything like how the Purosangue was dealt then it will be the factory identifying the preferred clients and then the dealers treating with them.

Something makes me think that this is how this one will go.

May the Horse be with you

He got a full ride for college (double degrees and in 4 years), 90% ride for his masters and is awaiting scholarship offers for his doctorate. Damn near paid for the 812. And he votes correctly, unlike his peers.

Major turnover at the local dealership.

If my SA leaves there will be nobody there I know or who know me personally, even after 20 years. (I guess I should have been more “inclusive”……) I am not anybody other than some schmuck from the country who has bought some 12s from there.

Regardless. The PS reveal was VIP because that specific car (V12 version) was the VS and built specifically for those invited. The 167 I’m hoping being a “simple” general production model not necessarily targeting upper tier clients. Though most will dust off some garage space for when they get their TMs…….

Machs nicht- I need to go back to Verona to visit the family anyway, but would be nice……

You need to look for better roads.
There are plenty, plenty, plenty amazing roads with almost no traffic.
There are several apps and YouTube channels dedicated towards this.

I would however avoid Switzerland. They want one of your n*ts and/or first born if they catch you speeding!

So I attended the Reuters live interview with Vigna today. His words based on the developments in the EU regulations over the weekend, is that Ferrari will continue to pursue ICE past 2036, but that it will not affect nor present any change to the planned product matrix of 40/40/20 or revisions the product plan from last summer.

He said a self driving Ferrari would be pointless as Ferrari is not a "mobility" brand. There were also some anecdotal comments about how the electric car will have new technologies to differently generate and regenerate energy in "new ways".

The app "Calimoto" is a nice one.
But a simple Google search or Youtube search will yield plenty of results.
Lake Como and Lugano are truly amazing places.
However the roads are small and easy congested.
So pick a date in the slow season and you'll have a wonderful time.

Yup. We are from Verona (near Garda) and one of my cousins lives in Como. Tourist traffic gets incrementally worse/slower as one gets closer to the lakes.

Synthetic fuels are a decoy and will not save the heat of Porsche and Ferrari. Seriously, who is going to "regularly" pay for a full $500 tank? few people...
Not to mention that the distribution is too confidential to be able to get supplies anywhere.
His statement is a way of avoiding the question, nothing else.

Ferrari said fully-electric and hybrid models would make up 80% of those in its range by 2030, while 20% would still be powered by internal combustion engines.

"This does not change," Vigna said. "We don't want to tell clients which car to use. We want to make three kinds of propulsion available for them - hybrid, electric and ICE - and they will chose".

It is certain that 20% ICE represents a huge choice...
    what a joke

I presume that "20%" will only consist of the FUV and no actual cars...

He was asked about the cost, and replied fairly generically with an allusion towards economics of scale.

I think, as you have mentioned before, management will soon realized the power of the V12, whether it was in the Daytona, Purosangue or the F167. Even Vigna can’t ignore demand and if he does, he’s not doing what is best for shareholders’ interest.

It will be interesting to see if Ferrari backpedals just as it did with the FUV.

I, for one, can’t wait to see the F167.
