This weekend I got to race in Australia on the new track (OK, on my F1 2022 computer game) for the first time, and it struck me as being more Jeddah like with the removal of the one chicane, so yeah, I'm seeing another Red Bull/ALO podium. The DRS zone after turn 2 isn't as long, but for some reason I always have liked the Australian race, probably because it used to start the season. As long as we don't have another ALO/HAAS crash!
I really liked the old layout. With the removal of some critical corners (braking/accelerating wise) the track is neutered. I don't think it made a big (if any difference) in overtaking last year, and that's with the new regs. With fewer braking/accelerating areas the driver makes even less of a difference now.

Which one of the Clark Kents? Like the old Clark Kent or the new Clark Kent? It's probably the new Clark Kent(Henry Cavill) and not Christopher Reeve.
Probably more like the comic book version. What’s important is that he becomes Superman once he puts the red suit on.
Thanks for all the cool pre race shots! Love the flight captain taking a selfie with Lando and the Clark Kent pics. And Melbourne s/f straight reminds me a lot of Montreal. And the Alpine picture is reminiscent of the ultimate F1 fantasy: proving that they have enough downforce to drive upside down if necessary, ah Hot Wheels!

Right, better see if I can find my enthusiasm… If RB are still a second a lap clear I don’t think I will be getting up a 5.00 a.m. watch this one live
