This is a total win for F1. This race had some potential drama over the last 30 mins of actual racing....but ultimately there was almost nothing that changed.


Now this race goes from minimal coverage for a middle of the night race in the US to headlines galore.

Absolutely. Are some people selectively blind or what? Totally unforced error by Sainz and it shunted Alonso off the track. If FA had braked unexpectedly or swerved across CS's path I would be more reserved in my judgement. But nothing like that happened.

Sport left the pram 2 years ago. In that time F1 has reached new heights in popularity and value. In a year that is borderline in danger of not upholding the drama....we get this.
