Aside from the performance being track specific, I believe setup is the case. That would be down to his race team, not the factory. At most some credit could be given to the simulator team.
The thing you missed is that BAS hates Lewis to the point BAS will not allow anyone to have a generally positive attitude concerning Lewis, and has to fight them tooth and nail until he beats them into submission or being quiet. BAS simply has to have the last word on this and will not give up until that happens. Which really means is that 90% of this whole thread is about BAS not Lewis !!! I figured this out about 4,000 posts again in this thread.
Well said. But I have to give Bas credit on his research and inside info on Hamilton. Its wierd I learned alot about Hamilton's personal being from Bas. Bas can quote something that Hamilton said 8 years ago in a press conference, he knows his stats in and out, his wardrobe, his relationships within the team. The amount of deep research Bas has of Lewis is more vast than any other driver.

Yep. Personal attacks and insults are, sadly, to be expected from the fanboys. Spewing hate towards those they accuse of ... spewing hate the irony appears to be lost on some. If you don't worship at the Hamilton altar daily, dream about him at night, and rush to his defense online at every opportunity, well ... you must be part of an obsessing, hating, stalking, anti-Hamilton cult!! Notice: not much praise for his awesomeness on-track, these days but rather, jumping to Hamilton's defense if anyone dare tarnish his precious image on social media!
I would much rather see the LH supporters talk about his good drives rather than resorting to name calling to those that do not worship him. I thought LH did a great job in 2nd place perfectly managing the gap ahead of Alonso. There was times I thought Alonso was making an attack and Lewis was in for a fight, but nope, Hamilton picked his pace up just enough to keep Fernando out of DRS. In 2022 LH got ripped by people talking about how George beat him. While yes he did, the second half of 2022 LH was without a doubt the better Mercedes driver, and yet we heard none of it in this thread.

I do. Please keep this discussion clean. Suggesting that Bas has other users banned in the past because he does not like their opinion, is unacceptable. Unless of course you can prove it without any doubt.
Perhaps. At least it can be a discussion/debate. Driver vs Car or some reasoning of what mattered more for a particular instance. Still better than name calling and insults between the people sharing their opinions.
Maybe we should just close this thread. If you want to start a "I Love HAM" thread, go for it. If you want to start a "I Dislike HAM" thread, go for it. And then go post it somewhere else than a Ferrari Chat Forum.

There are people here that like him and I've never had an issue with their opinion of him or the way they express themselves. Only the obsessed ones that can't hold a reasonable discussion and jump to conclusions. The people that seemingly only join this Ferrari forum to promote a non-Ferrari driver and have zero interest in anything related to Ferrari, the team, the cars...anything. Try joining a (insert sport) forum and say how much better their rival team/player is, see how long that typically last.

And I did not even say anything positive about Lewis. Then why don't you leave this thread and never come back. I am a Ferrari fan (but it has been hard for more than a while), I am a Ferrari owner. But while Ferrari is on-the-down in F1, I found a different team to root for. Nothing about this forum is exclusively Ferrari--just like a Ferrari owner is not restricted to only own Ferrari vehicles. I bet you can't avoid responding to this thread for <say> 17 weeks.
